According to this report, she still faces a wrongful-death case filed in NJ, so it isn't technically over yet:

It is su****ious to change your spouse's will right before his death, then pursue that money from his own family like a heartless *****. I remember reading somewhere that she was smiling, laughing and chewing gum like she didn't have a care in the world. Never gave her condolences or nothing. If you support this *****, then you don't support Gatti, and if you don't support Gatti, how can you call yourself a boxing fan. Shake My damn Head!

Even the top experts that the family hired to find another possible reason for his death outside of suicide came up empty handed. I think the judge, Brazilian authorities, and American investigators got it right. It's not what people wanted to hear, but I think they got it right.
I wouldn't say I totally feel strongly and I'm sure he committed suicide, it just seems more likely than murder.
It's ridiculous how for so long, people have ******ly tried to play armchair psycholgist "oh Gatti had so much heart in the ring so he would never kill himself". As if everyday life is the same as an athletic competition that lasts less than an hour. Gatti's own brother believes Arturo killed himself, but no, watching someone on TV (who you've never met before) means you really know his mindset and if he was able to kill himself.
Amanda actually may have been a money-grubbing slut, but there are many money-grubbing sluts out there, and most of them are not murderers.Last edited by Thread Stealer; 12-16-2011, 06:58 PM.
