I didn't like the decision but lets face it he was pushing all night watch the replay on the first knockdown he used an elbow and pushed him down don't get it twisted it was a clean knockdown but he also pushed him.

Khan vs Paterson a la Oscar vs Shane?
If the great Oscar could not get his losses to Shane over turned and he was a much bigger star than Amir will ever be, how the hell does Amir and his team (which weirdly includes Oscar) think that he can win an appeal on that loss???
Let's even say that Amir won the fight and was given the fight, there is no way in hell he is ready for Roger Mayweather, forget Floyd.
Amir is over anxious, over ambitious and he will get his ass handed to him by PBF any day even when Floyd is 37 years old.
I like Amir but he relies only on the hand speed that he has. He gets tagged a lot, which is not good for a fighter who trains with Roach and Pacman.

The first one was a trip, the second one was a push. The punches didn't land and he pushed him down at the end, I thought it was a poor decision from the ref.

Khan has no case; he pushed constantly, held Peterson's head down and lost the fight by running away.Last edited by gmc_rfc_06; 12-15-2011, 11:40 AM.

First of all ur not in the position to say u will givbe Peterson a rematch! From what I mmbr ur the one who lost! Its peterson who holds the cards! And I don't think any boxer had his weakness exposed more than u! Any boxer who just pressures u and comes in over n over u will just fold! U can't deal with pressure, ur speed aint **** if u can't deal with the pressure! U were freaked out and cldnt handle the constant pressure! I wld go back and work on that and have guys pressure u in sparring and instead of moving to ur side and box u pushed them away and becuz of that got deducted points! So stop crying!

Boxing rules say you can't push your opponent away. They do not say you can't push your opponent away unless you're Amir Khan. It was a terrific fight and a close fight and Khan would have just squeezed home by one point on the two tight cards but for the deductions. The ref did his job and Khan has only himself to blame for the loss.
