Of course. Why would Canelo want to prove himself in the division he's a champ in? It's not like he has proven anything, whatsoever, in a completely loaded division.

I guess the thinking is, a loss to Mayweather will not affect his standing among the majority of his fanbase, and he wants the payday now, but who knows.
