          Why not?

I wouldn't mind seeing this fight. Floyd fights a stronger younger hungry fighter with solid skills, what's not to like about? Fighting Pac obviously makes the most sense, but if that doesn't develop this to me makes the most sense from an all around perspective. Does he box circles around him? Maybe, maybe not. That's all speculation, hell in fact a majority of the time we talk about possible Floyd fights all most have to resort to is hype and speculation because he's been so inactive. We really have very little to judge him on over the past few years. I say what the hell at least Canelo can reach him, and bring something behind it. Fighters Fight, I 'd be fine with the match up and would be the first to acknowledge Floyd's accompllishment if he dominates a fight with Canelo.

This is a winnable fight for Saul, but only at 154. Otherwise, Canelo is just too green!

If Team Canelo says they're ready, why are fans on NSB running around spouting out "He's only fighting bums because he's a kid that needs time to grow"? How can Team Canelo say they're ready for big fights, but his fans advocate him not fighting the top guys in his division?

Secondly, if Canelo's ready for Mayweather/Pac, how is he not ready for Kirkland and why hasn't he fought him yet?

I can agree with this. I think Saul is big and strong enough to hurt Floyd, and if not, than Floyd probably wins. And if that's the case, so what? Floyd doesn't have the power or aggressiveness to hurt or ruin Saul, so why not? I, personally, would not like to see this fight yet (because is still green), but if it happens it happens.

If Mayweather doesn't fight Pacquiao or Cotto then Canelo is fine with me.

I agree with all of this. The only difference between most boxing fans and the mentally impaired is that boxing fans can work a computer. Let Canelo fight him, the guy has 40+ fights, beating up old man Mosley won't do a thing for him.

i have a feeling canelo is floyd's next opponent. would've been khan but he lost to peterson so he's out of the equation.
