Martinez is fighting Macklin March 17 (Doubt he'd want to get back in the ring that quick), Cotto is staying with Top Rank, and Khan cost himself a shot at Mayweather last weekend. Seems like if it's not Manny, then Canelo is next in line.

My question is, what weight would the fight be at?

what doesn't Canelo and his team understand about the fact that he is a middleweight and Floyd is a welterweight? Pacquiao has changed the game with these BS catchweights, Ortiz fought Floyd at 147 and came into the ring at 165. So if Canelo comes down to 150 for floyd whats he gonna weigh by fight time 170lbs while floyd's just barely at 150?!? GTFOH!!Thats 20 pounds, Floyd ain't that ******, If Canelo really wants the fight that bad maybe he should do like the old days and agree to a same day weigh in if hes that desperate to get sparked...

i have a feeling canelo is floyd's next opponent. would've been khan but he lost to peterson so he's out of the equation.

Nope, Mayweathers opponent in May would have been Pacquiao.

But according to Bob Arum, Pacquiao needs more than 6 months for his cut to heal, and Floyd cant fight in May because of his legal issues..... even though Mayweather has confirmed that his legal issues are not a problem.

I do not believe that Khan has been, or would have been, considered as an opponent for Mayweather in May.
