Mares? I dunno, way too early. Who are the olympic hopefuls for 2012? There could be a new DLH.

I could see a grinder like Peterson making waves now. Ward, not Bute IMO.

It'll boil down to talent and how stacked a weight class is.

HW already being written off for now, yes?

Yes pac has very good chance if he can continue fighting until 2019 but i doubt it he's already satisfied with his achievements as a FIGHTER OF THE DECADE, 8 DIV CHAMPION, 4X LINEAL CHAMP AND 3X FIGHTER OF THE YEAR.

I have no doubt in my mind it will be gamboa dominating 135, 140, just dont know if he can go as high as 147 but in my mind hes the most physically gifted fighter in the lower weight classes and has the most potential to be as good if not better then Paciquao.

Haven't heard of him two years into the decade, then it's going to take him 2, 3 or so years at least to get to the top, which already puts it near the middle of the decade.

Even Pac got it for only a few years of fighting really. He wasn't on the P4P scene until quite recently, and suddenly becomes FOTD, so I can understand your point. It's basically a bit of a hype thing as much as anything but Pac had great accomplishments overall so is deserving enough.

As for the next? I don't know. It's way too early.

                    I agree with this.

                    Hell no.

If you claim to know as much as you do about this sport then you have more than a little feeling that award was given to him more for hype than accomplishments.

As for FOTD? #1 Manny should never have been given that award.

#2. It surely won't be anyone of the Pinoy squad. They are already trying to give it to Donaire and he hasn't really done ****.

When it comes to these BS awards, SMH.
