In a way when Khan lost this fight I was quiet happy for him. Why was I happy for him ? Because I thought that should open his eyes now and he starts putting such performances, which in-turn earn him the top fights he craves, instead of begging for them.
Not even a week and he has already beat Peterson and every one who comes in the way of him and Mayweather. The only hope for Khan is to get knocked out once again like he did against Prescott and he might , might get a reality check.
That being said, De La Hoya and Roach are as much to blame aswel. He is deluded because his coach and promoter ( both anti-Mayweather ) probably told him that he is the man to actually beat Mayweather. End of the day Khan should be smart enough to never look beyond his next opponent.

You say "even" as if Bradley is a nobody. Bradley is a P4P top 10 fighter.

You must live in a fantasy world. All three Sky commentators, who are all British and all pro-Khan, thought Peterson won narrowly, and most boxing fans on here think the same, although I had it a draw.

Sadly, I think you're wrong. And I think it was because of his hubris, because he seriously over-rates himself, that he lost to Peterson, whom he clearly badly under-estimated.

Khan messed up his payday bad, and he knows it.

He's got to be hurting right now.

Exactly, a lot of his quotes are simply responses to leading questions.

              And that applies to everyone.

I agree, and with your last two points as well.

Khan was over-rated, which is no surprise - and no problem, except when your own Team are the ones doing the over-rating.

                And they badly overlooked Peterson.

                No rematch clause ?

I watched the sky broadcast one of the play by play guys has something against khan - it was plainly obvious no matter what good things he did in the fight the commentator downplayed it. Seemed a litte too excited for an upset. He seemed to have the strongest accent of them all possibly scottish, it was disgusting to hear. HBO was more neutral. Think HBO actually did a good job this time.

Jim Watts (who was once a great Lightweight) has nothing against Khan and actually raves about him too much sometimes (e.g. against Barrera). He's a very astute analyst, in general. And in the rounds in which Khan did well, Watts didn't downplay what Khan was doing at all. But the fact is that in many rounds Khan's tactics were terrible, and Watts pointed that out.

You would think that losing would humble Amir a lil bit and focus in what is in front of him.

He just simply believes that he is larger than life. I don't care if these are questions that the media is asking him. He should think his answers more so he won't look like an idiot every time.

Amir is simply full of himself, he is surrounded by to many yes men and ass kissers that tell him how great he is (when he is really not)
