I am sure there is already a verbal agreement between the two camps.

What alot people fail to realise is Khan is the biggest "money" fight out there for Mayweather, bar Pac.

Floyd is self entitled "money" for ffs, seriously, the guys saying "OMGZLOLZ, yyy's iz ee calling out Floyd!"

    Put two & two together!

Hahaha....firs the said he'd be ready to fight Floyd at any time. Than he took that back, said he'd be ready in 2-3 fights or so, which would be late 2012. Now, he's saying not until 2013, probably 4-5 fights from now. What will it be next, not until 2014 or 2015 when Floyd is 37 and 38???

After seeing Khan struggle Maidana and Peterson, I am not sure Khan gets past Berto or Ortiz. Though they'd all be great fights. Amir, fight Peterson again in March 2012, than fight the Berto-Ortiz II winner in July, and I guarantee you that you'd get a Floyd fight in late 2012.

Yeah... it must be a secret, since there's absolutely no evidence of the Floyd-Ortiz being fixed. Only thing fixed was Ortiz's eye after the fight 'cause he got owned.

In all of boxing, I can only recall one investigation with conclusive proof of a fix which involved Jake Lamotta and the FBI. You got proof? Show it.

hahaha he is still talking about Mayweather? who knows if Mayweather will still be fighting in 2013

and I have serious doubts that Khan will make it past some of the Top fighters at 140, I don't think he can beat Bradley or Robert Guerrero or Bam Bam Rios...I have doubts he will beat Peterson in a rematch unless it is in the UK and GBP REALLY fix it up for him

but yet he is still talking Mayweather lol...Focus on 140...your not even the best in your own division right now...you just have THE MOST HYPE!

Lamont Peterson: They ain’t on the same level. At the time when I fought Timothy Bradley, I wasn’t as comfortable and as secure as I am now. Since that fight, I have learned a lot. For me, Timothy Bradley will always be the better fighter. If they fought, I would pick Bradley to win.

WTH? Floyd will be 36yo and probably retired in 2013 Khan, floyd ain't ******, he knows father time is coming, he's not waiting around just to get beat. just focus on building your own name and making your own brand like Oscar did Khan, you already have 2 losses and can't afford to have another one. Thats why u lost in the first place to busy focusing on floyd riding his fame.. I'd rather see floyd-canelo at this point anyway...

He got ASKED about this. Amir's wanted to get a fight with Floyd for a LONG time. Can someone tell me whats wrong with ambition?

Tell me, if Khan had got the nod, would people be saying this? Of course not. A guy losing a very disputable decision and is now 'exposed' 'overrated' '****'?

People on here, who clearly have never been through what Boxers go through are downing a fighter for having ambition, is just nonsensical.

If he wins the rematch, then is he not on course?

Tell me, Ortiz was getting pounded by Lamont in the later rounds to come back and win a draw, and yet get's a Mayweather fight after his fight with Berto, and I didn't see people complaining about that.

The double standards and the ignorant posters really are disgusting.

There's nothing wrong with ambition but the REALITY is "Khan just lost to a fighter he was so sure he'd beat that there was no rematch clause, Khan fights like an amateur, Khan cant punch @ 140 so whats the point of 147? Khan has more competition @ 140 than 147 and a few of them would beat him, Khan needs someone to wake him up and tell him that "HE LOSS" and NOBODY not even his mum thinks he can beat Bradley let lone being worthy of entering the same arena as Mayweather. Khan is a disrespectful bum who needs to focus on humbleness, keeping that big ass mouth of his shut and learning how to fight for real cause I dont think his mum was impressed with his last performance.

I used to admire his persistence in taking the best from his previous loss and strife's.

Now I think he's sadly largely unwilling to recognise things happen for a reason like he says, because he's not fully accepting or addressing his wrong doings.

His defence is still needing serious work, he still loses his composure tactically, doesn't respond to warnings, and is obsessed with putting his name against Mayweather very prematurely.

It was more a case of the journalist asking him about a fight with Floyd and when. I think he's learned his lesson not to look past an oppenet or atleast I hope he has.
