      Bad year for Roach.

Once his fighters started churning out KO's your tune will change.

      People have very short memory.

roach seems to be all wrong for khan. khan doesn't like to trade, and his chin has also been exposed. that cooperation has no future imo.

Maybe the hectic schedule and fame is the cause for the lack of extra work and plan b's c's etc....

Freddie Roach is a good trainer but he's also an overrated trainer.

He's never been very good in the corner.

He better not get manager of the year again, if he wins it again it will be just because of the his Parkinson's disease.

I don't mean to be insensitive, just how I see it.

Your right, maybe he is so used to having guys with such natural talent that he really has not had to do as much in fights and is rusty.

Does it have to do with his fighters being pressured to be in with tougher opposition? Roach has blatantly cherrypicked opponents for his fighters, advising which opponent would be perfect for the certain fighters style. Now with Khan facing Maidana, he struggled but clearly won. With Peterson, I thought Khan won the boxing match, but I don't know what the obvious, continuous pushes was all about. It was getting annoying watching Khan push Peterson so much, you can push a fighter, but do you have to make it so obvious especially in the hometown of your opponent? If you're gonna fight dirty, do it right, pick the perfect spots to fight dirty, do it subtly, be slick with your dirty-fighting. With that said, the fight shouldn't have been as close as it was anyways, but I thought Khan won the fight, but rightfully lost it at the scorecards because of the point deductions. If any one was gonna get jobbed it was Peterson, 115-111 scorecard is ridiculous. But Peterson fought the fight of his life and Khan was running running and running without even boxing or setting anything up, he was just running.

I never tout he was a good trainer to begin with. His instructions are horrible.
