but thats just the way it is. Hes helped both Manny and Khan improve their offensive abilities and tighten up their weaknesses, thats just his game, like how Manny Steward helps fighters(for the most part) box on the outside at range.

Trainers in general are overrated, theres only so much they can do, when it gets down to it most of it is due to the fighters, although you get some unbelievable exeptions like Eddie Futch and Arcel.

who else would be a better trainer for Khan or Pacquiao?
      Your right bro,good points..

4 time trainer of the year. most sought after trainer in the world, and HOF'er. I am sure he is gonna alright.. But its true though that trainers are overrated, and Roach himself agrees, and has consistently said that he is only good as his fighter...

You dont see him sayin' announcing to the world that he is the best trainer in the world like some "fakes" that I know..lol...Nor does he disrespect other HOF trainers like Dundee...lol..

          Roach is over hyped.

Only reason boxers go to him is because of Pacquiao.

Do you think fighters (like khan) would go to him if he didnt have Pacman?

He has Amir, Chavez, Martiyosan, etc... He has trained Virgil Hill before Pac...In any case a trainer will always be known for their signature fighter.. Floyd had Roger, Dundee had Ali, Gainford had Louis, and SRR, and so and so forth.. So whats your point...

Roach is a good technical trainer but not a good tactical trainer. His fighters aren't smart, they rely on speed and movement and repetitive techniques with no real gameplan.

Roachs reign might come to an end but its just because of parkinson.
Roach was a good trainer and a good guy but hes suffering from his illness and should think about retirement.

Certainly this was a bad year for roach. All three of his super stars coming in as the heavy favorites, best shapes of their life, to lose in the ring to heavy heavy underdogs.

i had to say yes, just for the simple fact that it's coming to the point now where you really have to listen to what he's trying to say due to the words just kinda slurring out

i feel bad for the guy honestly, parkinson's disease is probably the most difficult disease for me to tolerate seeing somebody battle with

its gotta be hard for his fighters, at least sometimes, to understand his instructions in the corner, and it'll get worse
