    I agree with both.

What I DID say is that JMM is 38 years old and Cotto is 30, and that Cotto has still years of boxing ahead of him.

Funny how you keep ignoring the fact that JMM has a full career behind him, and that Cotto still has years ahead of him.

      It's an unfair comparison
      .

JMM could hang his gloves right now and will be ATG, HOF.
how many years do you people think he has left? i give him 2 or 3 at max he looks done imho he had 2 fighters that were basically disabled @ 154 peg leg foreman and one eyed marg and didn't all that great to me

Marquez based on the fact that he'll always be the black cloud that hangs over Pacquiao's great and storied career.

I mean Cotto and Marquez both have 3 division titles and very good resumes, although Marquez has a better list of opponents and the champions he beat to win the titles were more legit than the champs Cotto beat.

But if you want to take Pac and resumes out of the picture, Marquez is still a more skilled fighter.

They are pretty even. People will say Marquez because he's beaten or has had three close fights with Manny Pacquiao but aside from that the only name in his resume is an over the hill Marco Antonio Barrera. All the othe guys are just OK names, when he stepped up against another great fighter, he lost against Chris John.

Styles make fights and that's why JMM will beat or have a chance against Pacquiao anytime they fight just like Mosley vs Forrest. Beating Pacquiao doesn't make him better than Cotto.

Cotto and JMM are both great fighters.

All 3 Pac - Marquez fights were very close fights. The Pac - Cotto fight was as total blow out by Pac.

                  Berto is greater than Morales

Pacquiao beat Morales twice..... while he never beat Berto.

                  Also Clottey>Barrera ... hell David Diaz> Marquez

as it says in BigStereotype's sig, jmm is the Beethoven of boxing. and well, cotto is not. nothing wrong with that though, cotto's still a great fighter.
