    Agree.
Except: I hope Cotto can shine now with Pedro. I don't think he's shot.

    I like JMM also. In my book he has a win over Manny Pac at WW, @ 38 years old. A M A Z I N G.

Cotto is greater but Marquez is more skilled. Greater as in how big he is due to what he has accomplished - also taking into consideration all the things Cotto has done in a smaller time frame. The names on Marquez resume don't come close to the ones on Cottos.

If Cotto manages to defeat Pacquiao in a rematch that would only solidify his status even more and no one would be able to hold an argument against his greatness.

Also, Cotto has only two losses on his record. This can not go unnoticed. Undefeated while taking on the toughest fighters out there without ducking anyone. He has never been protected like Mayweather has ... Cotto hoes thru Mayweather's resume undefeated. Think about it.

And one of those loses is tainted by a plaster scandal, one he just avenged this past Saturday.

Cotto is greatly underrated but history will remember him as an all time great when it's all said and done. The resume speaks for itself.

This. But just simply answering the question, it's JMM by a mile

                  Barrera > Cotto's entire resume

Beating Pac at least twice is just icing on the cake.

You must be arguing with yourself since I haven't said that Cotto is greater.

What I DID say is that JMM is 38 years old and Cotto is 30, and that Cotto has still years of boxing ahead of him.

Funny how you keep ignoring the fact that JMM has a full career behind him, and that Cotto still has years ahead of him.

                    It's an unfair comparison.

JMM could hang his gloves right now and will be ATG, HOF.

                      Different class of fighter.

Marquez is an ATG, Cotto is far far far from it.
