YOu sound like a malicious fool. His contract is valid until Dec.31st. And he's been with Arum since his very beginning, and has done very well with him. lso, he personally likes Arum who has always treated him fairly. And he has been fed up enough with all the speculation and questions to deliberately point straight at Arum and say"There is my promotor, and he will always be my promoter". He's said that several times lately.
The only speculation there CAN be now is whether he will sign another contract until career end, or make contracts on a 2-3 fight basis, or even a fight at a time. I wouldn't be surprised if he even asks Arum to help him to get his own fledgling Promotion company up and running, and I'm sure that Arum would help him too.
What more do you conspiracy malicious loonies want from him??Comment

Maybe ( a BIG maybe) Oscar has become ethical suddenly, that his crying repentence has leaked over into his business ethics. Otherwise he would normally have brought a case of cash and worn down Cotto for hours until he signed, even though officially still not a free agent. Like he did with Pacquiao.
But I think that even a dimwit like Oscar realises that Cotto is a different type to the average boxer, has different principles to the average boxer, and a bit more intelligent than the average boxer.

Cotto deserves a promoter like Golden Boy who has been in the ring and would never put him in the ring with an attempted in ring murderer just to fatten his own pockets. Miguel, your Father would want GBP to look over you in his place. Don't let him down.Comment

You are insulting Cotto's father if you think you can speak for him. He is not in the same pace that you come from, he is on a higher plane entirely. The opposite, in fact, to where you are.Comment
