primo carnera??? carnera was a mafia protected hype job with no skills and no speed and no nothing. Vitali would knock Carnera out in 3 rounds if he wants to

Obviously Joe is before my time, but like many, ive seen his past fights via internet over the years. With that said.....IMO, Vitali would have a field day against him. Too big (unlike P-Will Vitali knows how to use his reach to his advantage), and that sledge hammer of a jab would make Joe look like Margs after the Pac fight.

According to a different sources he was even taller (2.05 m) but that makes no difference since my post was referring to "stronger, faster, more athletic & nimble".

Yes Vitali would beat Louis now (because he is dead). In his prime Louis beats Vitali like a new snare drum all day long.

                Sorry mate.

I just boggles me how little the average fan knows today about boxing and boxing history. Trust me bro i had no idea about it either. I've recently started looking up the The Black Row murders. Wow bro. Even Sugar Ray Robinson wanted NO part of those boys! They would Smash most if not all current fighters today around middleweight. Remember Boxing is built upon generation by generation most of the skills you see now where originated back in the day, what makes you think allot of it has been unveiled today?

I read that in lots of books and articles. when you google, you find lots of links yourself which claim that Carnera's fights were all fixed.
here a direct link to boxrec:
"....The surface story most commonly recited about Carnera is that he was a freakishly big and unbelievably naive Italian circus performer discovered and exploited by New York mobsters who fixed fights for him and protected him into the heavyweight championship. In the end, the gangsters abandoned him, stripped him of his cash, and let him disappear back into anonymity....."

IDK why I let everyone's ignorance get to me but u mention nothing of technique. Louis would outbox him easily. An outdated Lewis beat Vitali, what the he'll do u think a prime Louis would do?
