I think it was more psychological than anything. Arum obviously like any good promoter will take both psychological or physical advantage he can for his fighter to have a bigger edge. He knew Morales likes Winning and so he added it and Muhammad never objected.

Right, but Barrera outboxed Morales. Pac has very little chance of outboxing Erik LOL, he need to knocks him out with a puncher's gloves.

People tend to argue about this gloves issue in this fight but there are a lot of other fights that used this agreement in the contract(besides MAB/EM 3, of course).

And the broken nose was a perfect shot, don't really matter which gloves, hehe.
