I don't like this fight right now, 2007 Cotto would have been a problem for Floyd though, that fight would have been intense.

Beating a one eyed shot Margarito and old as hell Mayorga just doesn't excite me. If he beats Kirkland, Canelo, or another good challenger then it might create a good buzz.

We know the outcome of that one too..according to every Mayweather stans' logic.

I actually think Cotto-Mayweather at 150lbs is more competitive than a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight at 147lbs. seriously..I may get clowned or people might call me delusional etc. but Pacquiao doesn't do well when he's gotta chase people around. we saw that a few weeks ago, that fight is a KO waiting to happen.

Now Cotto presses forward with a crisp jab, his right hand has greatly improved, and he needs to get back to chopping some body shots. Cotto's confidence is back to Post-Mosley, and if he keeps Diaz and work on a solid game plan I think they could have some success. It's over due, but it's not too late.

Don't kid yourselves, Cotto would take an unfair and hard to watch pounding over 12 rounds.

              They're all *****s.

Any neutral boxing fan can see a guy like Cotto would give Mayweather a more than decent fight, particularly in and around 150lbs.

Yeah it's a probably a mismatch, but one which will pay MC very well with little risk of having to take a severe beating to earn it.

I say if Cotto is offered the chance, he should take it.

                    Upsets happen, however unlikely.
