    Be serious.

Cotto is better than Ortiz, Mosley, Marquez (@ 147), Hatton.. only one better is arguably old Oscar in recent years.

Then right after the fight "Cotto was done Floyd knew it that was the only reason he took the fight. He would never fight a guy like Khan, blah, blah".

Cotto right now? I don't think he's better than Ortiz or the Hatton Floyd beat. Again, the competition for him lately hasn't been that good to say that. I don't think he's better than Mosley was personally, and that Floyd-Cotto would look much the same as Floyd-Mosley, minus the hairy second round.

You don't know what you're talking about. You're a fanboy slash hater, not a true boxing fan. You sound silly. Cotto isn't the hardest guy to hit and we have already seen that he is the type to get on his bike once he's been touched up a bit. Mayweather is not a minimal puncher, he's an efficient puncher meaning he doesn't waste punches. You haters overstate his defensive-mindedness in an effort to downplay him as a fighter. What makes you think that he couldn't walk Cotto down the same way that he walked Mosley down? Mosley had Cotto backing up.

You should put an (@147) beside Hatton too, Cotto v Hatton would have been a good fight at 140, Hatton's footwork and inside pressure had the potential to put MC on the backfoot.

But I agree and I don't understand why *****s are so reluctant to have their hero fight Miguel. What happened to Floyd's mantra 'if it makes dollars, it makes sense'?

i think ppl are getting caught up on his past accomplishments. but to say this version of cotto, a version that had difficulties with a shot to **** mayorga who hadnt been in the ring in over a year, is better than many of the fighters ppl are throwing around is absolutely absurd. i like cotto, i really do. but ppl take their admiration and respect for him a little too far.

Fight Khan then, fight Pacquiao, fight Cotto ...but don't insult boxing fans with stacked contests with lesser opponents.

This fight is not as intriguing as it once was, Floyd should have fought him instead of conveniently retiring.

This kid is still mad that Hatton got check-hooked into the corner. Get over it, kid.

                      Fight Cotto for what, exactly?

Edit: nevermind, I just figured it out.
