Well, I listened very carefully to what Cotto said, and, whilst it's clear that they are not friends, he clearly stated that he felt that Margarito's blows were just the same as in the first fight, but this time he didn't fight Margarito's fight, that he stuck to his trainer's plan and because of that was successful, therefore his face was not so damaged.

By the way, where are all the "experts" who were prophesying that Cotto was going straight to Colden Balls after this fight, that Arum was "this"... and "that".... and that Cotto was sure to become an independent fighter with no promoter and so much more crap than a 10 ton truck could hold. I suppose that Arum was lying when he said that "Cotto pointed to me and said, there is my promoter"...arc. And I notice that there was not a single question about this from the press in either Cotto's or Arum's interviews. It was Arum who made the announcement, to shut up whatever little speculation there was.

But of course BoxingScene crazies will say that Arum hypnotized Cotto......unless they can think of something even more ******,...which of course they can do at the "drop of a hat".....
So when Kellergirl asked him immediately after the fight about loaded wraps and what the difference was in this fight and he replied - Well I’m still standing this time....what do you think he meant?

we all know margarito used hand wraps in 2008 hands down!! heres y!

Tony got caught trying to use illegal hand wraps right before his mosley fight, and at the time if u remember Tony was the big favorite and supposedly mosley was over the hill. that was the take on the fight i recall perfectly.
      now rewind!!
july 2008 this was a huge fight and tony was the underdog going up against cotto who was the Young , Undefeated champ (33-0) and who was hurting his opponents. Now point is,,,,,,,,,,, you mean to tell me margarito tried to use illegal wraps against a supposed washed up Former champ in Mosley (at that time) and didnt use them against cotto who was Tonys biggest most dangerous fight of his carreer at that time????
      YEAH OK!!!!
thats not proof but its a damm good reason for me to believe he used them.

          Fkn ridiculous.

So, either Margarito, or his trainer, would use loaded gloves against an underdog that he was expected to beat, but not against a firm favorite in the fight of his life?

Yea right, I'm calling bull**** on that one.

And stating that the only reason why Cotto won is because of Margarito's eye injury is just plain ******. That line of thinking is so idiotic it actually sounds *******ed...... I think I know where most of those comments are coming from.

Before that fight Margarito stated that his eye was perfect, but they knew that Cotto would target it anyways..... well, he did, and you couldnt do anything about it Margarito because you were too busy being b1tch-slapped around the ring.

You guys do realise that Margarito was not compelled to stand there and let Cotto repeatedly punch him in the eye, dont you?

Cotto won, hard luck for Margacheato, and hard luck for his crybaby fans.

Cotto at times was trading with him, those punches werent the same. Love Cotto's line ''I wanted him to see me savour my victory with his one eye' love that.

                51% = a good ol fashioned ass-whoopin.....

                Margarito fans.....

You do not get to sit there and watch a guy land 51% of his power shots on your boy, and then claim that the only reason why he won is because he happened to get lucky by aggravating an old injury. 51% will do that, go figure.

I don't really understand your question, that is, if it is really a question and not some sort of gobblyde**** by a simpleton. However, I'll take it literally.

I'm standing and he isn't, means to me that he won and his opponent didn't, that he was better and/or his opponent was worse, that he was fortunate and his opponent was unfortunate, that he woke up on the "right aide if the bed" and his opponent didn't"....let me see how many more absurdities can I conjure up to satisfy your obscure feelings........

Aw go away and don't bother me with your nonsense. When I write a serious letter full of rational, calling for a debate or difference of opinion, well constructed facts or calling for pointing out flaws, or questions of facts, I expect a serious answer...or none at all.

In your's, I got none at all.

In fact, I've often wondered what sort of basic, ground level, ignoramus would have a user name so offensive to a whole race of people, especially when so many of them are living at pure subsistence level, just to show your derision of a single boxer whom you don't like.
