It's time for everyone to admit that Margarito cheated

How is that running? Because he wouldn't fight toe to toe? Miguel fought a great fight and used skill, like footwork and speed to make Margarito look lost(like he did the first 6 rounds in the first fight). I'm sorry that Margaritos skills are limited to walking straight forward and punching. Some fighters are more skilled and can control where the fight is going. What's funny is Miguel was pushing Margarito around like a little b.Comment

Leave him be, I'm shocked at the way he's posting today. He has been reduced to ******* standard for the time. Whenever a fighter gets in motion, they call it running. He'll be ok, right now he's just bitter & proving to be a sore loser, it'll pass with time. How is that running? Because he wouldn't fight toe to toe? personally, i dont think margs cheated for cotto... cotto was never really a "dangerous" fighter. cotto was always a solid boxer with a stiff jab... also known for great body work. compared to shane, shane DEFINITELY was a bigger threat in the punching power category... maybe capetillo, knowing margs wasnt a big puncher, wanted to "level the playing field".
we wont know until margs retires & decides to spill the beans....
but for anyone to compare last night to the first fight solely based on the "damage" done to cotto, is doing a BIG disservice to cotto's training & gameplan. and COMPLETELY ignores the fact that cotto didnt give margs a chance to touch him up.
cotto boxed PERFECTLY the majority of the fight. although there were moments that mimicked the first fight, cotto DEFINITELY came prepared. he was quick... his movement was amazing... great performance.Comment

Completely disagree. Miguel is my favorite but I won't be biased. Miguel ran in the later rounds against Manny. Miguel never ran in this fight. He got in, landed his shots, got out, and circled into a good spot to land another combo. I didn't think he was hurt or ran at any point in the fight. Had he been hurt I certainly would of felt uneasy and worried but I was never worried in this fight.Comment

Cotto fought a lot better and different this time around. The fight just ended early because of the Pac damaged eye, but Cotto was on his way to beating him. Its just a matter of opinion if Cotto would have lasted the full 12 rounds.Comment

The fact that Margs has looked garbage and lacked power since he got caught with his wraps tells me all I need to know. He's a different fighter, can't break people down and with the exception of one good hook to Pacquiao's body, hasn't landed a punch that's done any kind of damage.
He cheated in the first fight and can't beat any good fighter without them.Last edited by gmc_rfc_06; 12-04-2011, 09:45 AM.Comment
GTFOH he was running all the way through the first fight, fighting off the ropes...still managed to bleed through his ears though.
