It's time for everyone to admit that Margarito cheated

Agree Check, he cheated in Cotto 1 and probably countless other fights.

The only question is whether he knew he cheated, or if his trainer concealed it from him.

I'm not sure he cheated in tons of fights, he could of though. I just think his back was against the wall, he needed that win so bad, so he did what he to do. No doubt in my mind he cheated in the Cotto fight.

You cannot be sure about which fights he cheated in. But I think it's obvious that he did cheat. I think he even cheated in the Paul Williams fight, its just that Williams was tougher/more durable than Cotto and Cintron, plus he did a good job of holding and keeping his distance. I mean Marg's punches always looked slow and clubbing, but yet he nearly ripped a guy's ear off.

I remember someone complaining that Williams was "holding on for dear life" in the latter rounds. Yea sure, because he was getting hit with a brick once the wraps hardened.

As for Margarito, good riddance, easily one of the most overrated fighters in the past 7 years. His die hard fans are the biggest crybabies on this site. Hopefully they disappear too.

In fact, I remember reading an arictle where he and other trainers including Roach said it was possible for you to not know. Most fighters are in a zone on fight night and dont notice things

if u get caught with ur hand in the cookie jar it's probably been there before u just didnt get caught. the fact that he got caught red handed tryin to cheat in his very next fight makes it hard for me to give him the benifit of the doubt for the cotto fight
