It's time for everyone to admit that Margarito cheated

Manny has one of the best chins in boxing and was hurt and almost knockdown against Margarito.

I seem to remember it differently. He got hit in the body, but I think it was exaggerated how much it actually hurt him. I don't remember him freezing up or running after it. I don't even remember giving Margarito the round to be perfectly honest.

No, I think Marg is different.

RJJ was an olympic gold medalist that was robbed and given the silver. RJJ went on to win the heavyweight title after his failed test along with many other fights. Vitali did the same thing. He won consistently after his failed test.

Margarito couldn't even beat Garcia the way he beat Cotto. Some say he did that on purpose, but I call BS. Marg is 1-4 after plaster. Do the math.

Fair points made but if these guys did not feel morally objected not to juice up once they might have done it more.Plus if the people believe the commissions cant catch something as obvious as plaster of paris in handwraps then what makes us think they can catch steroids which might be ever improving.Just my two cents

Margarito"Hands of stone" is one of the worst cheaters in boxing history a classless person and sore loser. His fans scrambling to defend him any way they can is absolutely pathetic, he lost and he lost badly this wasn't Pac JMM where you can interpret the fight differently Marg was getting his ass beat the entire fight rounds 1-9 and Cotto was not slowing down.

TBH I was up close at that fight and saw Manny severely hurt by that body shot as well as an uppercut later on.

I didn't really show up as bad on TV, but watching it live....I haven't seen Manny hurt that bad since the Hussein fight.

Really, I think the body shot in question was in the 6th? I always thought Manny was just saying that to add to the drama b/c it was so one-sided. Haha.

I agree with the steroids part. Once a guy is caught using, even after he passed the test, he should be subjected to better testing. This is true. I think boxing is going in the right direction in that aspect, with the exception of a few fighters who have refused tests.

Secondly, if Marg was caught with "pre-used" plaster wraps, your argument about the commission catching someone should go out the window. Again, PRE-USED, as in past-tense; hence "already used".

all of this was supposed to give miguel a big mental advantage going in, and in the end, he won the fight the only way he could, the Dr stopping it due to the eye that is the only way Cotto can beat Margarito.

He said he was going after it we knew he was, But all of these that I listed show me a fighter who does not believe in himself...

Cus to be honest he didnt need to go through all of this for the fight to turn out the way it did... Everybody knew he would out box Marg early.

Marg wasnt going to win on points we knew that, but the moment the fight shifted in Mags favor the Dr stopped it..

I dont know how anybody can be proud of that kind of win..
But if its the only way you can beat this man maybe its okay to be proud of that...

Yeah, I was in the front row too and it didn't even land. I can also say stuff that can't be proven, bro. In fact, I was live at the Margarito-Williams fight, and Williams actually KO'd him. It didn't come through on the TV feed, but it happened. HBO editing just chose not to show it.

Well Gabe Montoya a well known boxing writer said he seen the wraps and they were not as described.He said they were like credit cards then small blocks and they were not that hard
