I'm tired of hearing this myth that froch was getting spanked. Why don't you go watch the fight again and you'll see that at the time of the stoppage taylor was only 1-2 points up. Froch started slow but took most of the middle rounds and broke Taylor down. Saying "taylor gassed" is a poor excuse.

Well, Taylor running out of gas isn't exactly an irregular occurence.

Not that it matters, Taylor gassing is his problem. Froch beat him fair and sqaure.

It doesn't change the fact that Taylor was winning fairly easily, though.

Bute vs Froch or Ward would be great. Too bad Kesseler didn't want a piece---he got up close and then said, 'no thanks'. Bute is a class fighter and would be a real challenge for anyone in 168.

Its the fight isnt it but it's also annoying how he just sat out the hotly contested tournement and goes straight for the winner. Id let him wait, especially if i was Froch and won, that guy must be feeling a bit battle worn!

That annoys me too. The Super 6 guys had to run the gauntlet and go through some wear and tear while Bute was on easy street. Yet he now expects to just waltz right in against the victor.

If I was the winner of the tournament I would rest up a bit and make Bute fight the runner up first. Or the winner of Kessler-Stieglitz. Just so that he does a little more to earn the shot.

Bute is good, no doubt. But, I just wanna see what happens when he gets in with people like Ward, Froch, Abraham, Kessler, etc. He does have good wins over Andrade, Miranda, and Mendy though. The Johnson win does not impress me though, and I don't think anyone though much of that fight.

Exactly. He didn't look like **** in the Johnson fight. He barely broke Johnson's guard or landed a clean punch all night. The crowd just went crazy anytime Bute threw a punch even though Johnson took nearly all of them on the gloves. I think that fight was a lot closer than the judges saw it. Bute still won but it wasn't the shutout they said. In fact, the first six rounds were all very close. Froch did a much better job on Johnson, he actually landed clean punches on him, and power shots.

I personally think Froch and Ward would handle this guy.
