Froch is going to get his ass kicked by Andre Ward probably by lopsided decision win for Ward.

you aren't giving him credit for pulling out, going up in weight & facing katsidis who is probably an even tougher fighter and certainly more proven? how is a two weight world champion a bum? burns has improved immensely. groves did not get no gift decision, he won the fight fairly. why would he get a gift decision when it was on degales promoters card?

you don't know who kell brook is, lol, says it all.

and i wouldn't count your chickens or bank on ward having an easy night against the cobra.
suppose you said taylor, johnson etc would smash froch? soon as they got whooped you said they was washed up. just give the guys some credit.

i'd say his handspeed had a slight edge too.

the latter part maybe true but i believe murray has a better inside game than antillion & is stronger.
antillion has been in way way too many wars, every fight the guys ever had has been a complete war as his face shows lol
What are you basing this on?

And simply put, there is no way John Murray is better than Brandon Rios in all of those catergories.

I'd say John Murray is a worser version of Antillon. On par at best.

Froch was being outboxed by Taylor and needed a KO to win that fight.

would you say the same for murray? A SPITEFUL PUNCHER?

haha! darren made me proud that night though it was a losing effort he certainly made a go of it & hopefully he gets bigger fights down the line.

i'm not sure what i'd class murrays power as, he's a bit of a thudding puncher lol
not feather fisted by any means but certainly not a 1 punch k.o artist.

From what I have seen of Murray, dont want to underestimate the guy, but I just cant imagine him lasting more than 6 rounds with Rios. I hope I am wrong though.

murray is a workhorse with a tight inside game as opposed to rios's often sloppy work & neglecting his defence. murray is like a tank, he don't stop coming forward, chiselling away - this could be his downfall but i believe the tidier work & pace will come from john.
i do not see this as a mismatch & whilst he did lose to mitchell, nobody has ever outslugged murray that said rios hits like a mule.

John's decent but i cant see him beating Rios.

I think the only way he has a chance is if he throws a sledge hammer at Brandon.

and he got that k.o! no shame in being outboxed by a terrific fighter like taylor & coming back with a late k.o in what i believe was fight of the year.

rios only knows one way and imo his inside game isn't particularly great, i expect murray to absolutely plaster him with left hooks to the body & uppercuts & make a real go of this.

defeat can make a fighter stronger, losing to mitchell, no shame there. i am not a big fan of murray but i'm not going to say this is a huge mismatch because everyone else is. i see this as a very competitive close fight.
                    Mitchell would get ko'd.

Mitchell would have some success early but Rios is relentless and strong and would grind Mitchell down as it the fight continued.

Going back to Murray there is nothing he can do better than Rios. Murray can't box off the back foot so he is going to have to brawl and Rios is the better inside fighter plus is stronger and more durable.

murray i haven't really seen hurt before except against mitchell who is a damn good fighter with b+ power & i have followed most of murrays fights so not sure what makes you think his chins bad.
He does not have B+ power, he has accumulation stoppages against poor opposition. His resume is terrible for the amount of fights he's had, there is a reason why he hasn't progressed to world level already.
