Diaz was a better boxer than Margarito, he actually knew how to swarm, cut off the ring, move his head etc

They would both abuse Marquez. I don't get how the whole world ****ted on JMM north of 135 and then he looks good and auto assumes that he'd beat and/or stop Margs and Cotto? Boxing 'fans' are probably the most fickle and unreliable fans out there.

Inferior fighters have put hands on Marquez and dropped him. Soft hands like Floyd put him on his ass. He isn't a defensive mastermind and he's never been hit by guys this big. Pac fight is the exception because Pac brings nothing to the table that Marquez hadn't seen two times prior. He already knows how to use Pac's best attributes against him. Watching that fight tells me nothing on how he'd do against Cotto or Margarito or anyone else in the WW, only that he'd be a little competitive.

I'd say that Margarito anally ****s Marquez and Cotto coasts to a comfortable UD.

Margarito would beat Marquez down, Cotto, Marquez could potentially beat if he shows up all shredded and fit.

Margarito is too big for Marquez and he can take far too good of a punch, and Marquez can't move half as quick as pac on his feet to get out of the way.

Both would beat his ass anyone who thinks othewise is either a nuthugger or very impresionable. Katsidis hurt him and was able to hang with him for most rounds. Both Diaz and Katsidis were able to hit him at will. Cotto can hit twice as hard and is a much better offensive fighter than either of those two. Cheato is just too big and would just swarm him. Marquez is too slow and doesn't have the power to keep Cheato off of him.

man, JMM's something special. i think he beats both margarito and cotto. i think that since JMM's conditioning is top notch he would have just countered margs to oblivion and not given margs the benefit of finding him. with cotto i think this would be a much closer fight with JMM closing out the championship rounds stronger than cotto; maybe a toss up.

Honestly Margarito stops Marquez in 10 or 11 rounds. Too much pressure, size advantage, and I don't think Marquez punches would even make him flinch. Against Cotto its a 50/50 fight IMO because Cotto does have a tendency to take himself out of a fight when getting hit recently. Marquez won't come after him though which would give Cotto a chance to fight a smart fight, however I think Marquez uppercuts would be the difference in the fight. Marquez in a close decision.
