Its a fans right to complain about a sport that is as shady as boxing is. Its no guarantee that anything will change but it does send a message regardless that we arent f-in ******. Pac is diminished a taste because the way he was beaten he had no right to be arrogant and confident in any conversation about that fight. He should have given his normal vanilla speech and patted Marquez on the back. Not "I clearly won". When Pacquiao lies its all over his face.

We can protest, talk about it and knowingly figure out the outcomes before they happen but what will change? Will Nevada change the decision? Most likely no.

Guys like Arum can stash these things as the years pass. Similar to what he did with Manny vs Mosley. All we saw on the promos, commercials and fight camp were highlights of Mosley vs Margarito. Not one time were his fights with Floyd or Mora shown. People like us can talk about it but it'll be overlooked for the most part.

We as true fans know the decision was controversial, but the fight itself will be forever cemented as a win for Manny. And to future boxing fans, that might be the only thing they'll know about the outcome 20 years from now.

That's why I put my 2 cents in after the fight and maybe a week later but left it at that. The judges decisions are out of the fighters hands so I can't fault Manny for that. Just like I don't fault Chavez or Paul Williams. We are forced to accept it but still be glad we witnessed a great rivalry at the same time.

Being the agressor & applying effective aggression are 2 different things. If you want to see effective aggression visit Cotto-Margarito 1. Was Pacman the agressor sure, was it effective,no. He was being turned & countered all night long but the smaller, weaker & slower man. He was never set, had to reset at every exchange, couldn't cut of the ring & the only effect team Pacman had that was arum buying some judges.

marquez wasnt that much more affective than pacquiao lets be honest here. he hit pac a few good times but not the amount these people here would like you to believe. If marquez was so much on top then why didnt he go for pac why did he stay on the back foot. pac was affective enough to keep him on the back foot. Sorry dude marquez didnt do enough.

he most certanly will, because 2 weeks after the fight, i have yet to see a scorecard with round by round justification for how marquez won.

the truth of the matter is that:

all the people crying robbery have rewatched the fight and changed their mind and admitted it, or, changed their mind but still pretend they think marquez won for the sake of being controversial or appearing smart.

the entire "crisper, cleaner" punches argument can be thrown out the window because its obvious by looking at their faces who landed the cleaner punches - add in the fact that the guy who threw the cleaner punches also landed more and we have a very clear winner. the judges arent ****** and they dont get fooled by the crowd's anti-pacquiao bias and they 100% made the right decision.

marquez was not even remotely close to winning the fight and he knows it; which is why he hasnt filed the lawsuit yet.
