Martinez looked lousy in his last fight with a guy his size! How a bout if martinez calls out some old guy named Bernard Hopkins, and go up to fight him! Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns went all the way up to Light Heavyweight for challenges. Sergio has no character, and he's just punking off at the mouth trying to lure a smaller big name like Pacquiao or Mayweather up to fight him. What a gutless weasel. Why is it he's not willing to go up in weight for a challenge, but trash talks anyone that won't come up to fight him???????

Hagler and Hopkins did fight great welterweights, but they fought great welterweights that moved up and challenged themselves, and much bigger guys for the most part than either Floyd or Pac. Duran's the only guy either fought that wasn't FAR bigger than either Floyd or Pac, that I can think of.

I don't blame him for wanting money, every fighter does, but Sergio just sounds so pathetic and desperate whenever he does this. He could make a ton of money chasing Chavez Jr. and Alvarez too, go after them with the same desperation. Get over it already and act like the middleweight champ.

Really the game is ****ed up. It should be illogical for someone who has accomplished as much as Martinez to have to consider "chasing" Canelo or Chavez jr. Neither will ever fight him. And in reality neither has done enough to be in Sergio's class. I think he's on the right chase.

He did worse than calling out a smaller man, he fought him. What are you talking about Pac didn't want to beat JMM a second time? Dude said in every interview leading up to the 3rd fight that he was extra motivated and wanted to prove JMM wrong.
