Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."
Yea...You should have kept reading the article...Like he could have gotten his highest career payday at that time fought Marg and then buy out his contract to fight Oscar for 20mil. But, he didn't do that either, now did he?

What him getting x amount of money in his next fight have to do with turning down a career high payday to fight arguably the best WW at that time?

Again for whatever reason he avoided the hell out of Margarito.

Thank you. I told showed this guy your same ESPN quote a few months ago.

Read that as well thanks! So because he didn't take the exact route that you wanted him to, that means he avoided Margarito? Doesn't matter that he didn't do it, Arum who hates his guts even admitted that he was certainly willing...ie.. he didn't "avoid" Margarito.

So instead of fighting Plasterritto he fought Oscar for that 20 million.

Fawk Floyd for not fighting that cheater!

How many opportunities did he have to fight Marg? Why do people act as if that was the only offer? He was also offered it for a replace of the Judah fight when Judah lost. He still declined it...Since when turning down a career high payday or turning down to fight the best in the division not once, but twice instead fight lesser competition not avoidance?

What is considered a "duck" then? You right no one has ever ducked anybody...They just went a different route that people wanted them to take.

He could have fought both, but lets ignore the fact that turned a career high payday to fight arguably the best fighter in his division at the time.

As of today November 23 Team Pac will not negotiate a Mayweather fight and is entertaining (robbing) fighting Marquez again. The date is May 5th the venue is on hold, Floyd is willing, what's going on? Whatever you want to make up in your mind the fact is PBF is undefeated, p4p 1, and the biggest draw in the sport.

Only fighter I would say Floyd ducked is Kos. Why didn't Pac fight Raheem though? Why wasn't Pac interested in fighting Mosley when he was begging for a Pac fight when he was still in good condition?

Why are u acting like Floyd and Top Rank have a long history making fights together? As if this most likely didn't have anything to do with it.
Margarito has a similar style to Castillo except is no where near as good. Why would there be any reason to think that he would've ducked Margarito?

Just curious, if that is your definition, then who do you consider Pac ducking?

Kostya? How in God's name did Floyd duck Kostya? When and where was that fight suppose to happen? How was it suppose to happen? So Floyd didn't avoid Margarito but avoided Kostya?

Yes Pac is a duck too, it's that your argument to Floyd not avoiding Margarito?

But, apparently to others, this is not an avoidance...I guess, this is just going on a different route that people wanted them to take.

Nor was he interested in fighting Margarito when he was relevant. Roaches exact words "we aren't ******".
