He didn't get to where he is by being nice.
Its all good papa. There are good people out there too that will do the right thing when the time comes.

Bob Arum don't like Puerto Ricans... I'm sorry, but he got it all set up to get cotto messed up. I'm glad Miguel Cotto understands who he is to the sport and doesn't need Top Rank anymore!!!!!!!! That whole situation with the wraps was set up by Bob Arum the mafioso

Why not jump at the chance to beat the living **** out of the guy who supposedly "had plaster" and tried to "take your health"?

Why not jump at the chance to permanently mess up the one guy that was responsible for your career taking a nose dive?

Why not jump at the opportunity to beat the man who gave you your first loss?

            Tell me....

            Amen to this.

and why not jump at the chance of beating the hell out of a one eyed plasterless cheat.

I honestly think Cotto is not confident he can beat Margarito.

Is Cotto posturing? Possibly, but I hope he is not. If the NYSAC does not approve Margarito to fight that means that he is not 100%. I don't think that Cotto would want to go into a fight against someone that is not at their best. Cotto, I would hope, want to beat him at his best and never deal with him again. No questions about how legit the win was.

I hope too he is not. His recent statements however, can easily be interpreted otherwise.

It would have been understandable to boxing fans had he simply said he'll feel sorry for Margarito if NYC declares him unfit to fight. Fighting somebody with a handicap will be totally unfair hence the fight can't be made anywhere.
