Age and form has nothing to do with causing a cut. And old and fat Lewis got outthrown, outlanded, outscored and dominated by Vitali, a younger one might have been more competitive against him. It's a 50/50 matchup.

Whilst losing to Lennox is seemingly still the peak of Vitali's career
I think it just wasn't important because most boxing experts don't give him full cedit for that win. They all know Lennox wasn't close to faded, won on lucky cuts only and didn't grant a rematch. So, yes, you are right, it would have been unfair to penalize Lewis for that fight based on his career resume.

Wasnt close to faded? 38 years old, coming out of semi-retirement, a full year out of the ring and weighing the heaviest ever.

Yeah he was right around prime.

Lucky cuts? Didnt realise it was luck to repeatedly punch someone in the face till they bled like a menstruating vagina.

Yea, I consider a lucky cut win when somebody doesn't actively go into the fight trying to win on cuts. Oh, and yes, Lennox was still sharp in the fight, was only 3-5 lbs more than he normally is and had just come off his career best win.

Haven't we been over this before? Don't you know were never going to see eye to eye yet?

or you could use facts and say 'Lewis came into the fight looking to win, took advantage of the huge cuts he caused with strong landed punches, even when he was 3lbs over the worst shape of his career(against Rahman 1) and coming off what was obviously not the best win of his career because Tyson was way past prime'

You could say that, if you were looking on the bright side and wanting to give Lennox a pass he may or may not deserve. And yes, I too agree that Lennox also ducked Tyson while a fight with him was meaningful. It just doesn't take away from him looking absolutely at his amazing best.

Explain to me then why your hero himself, in his post fight interview, said:

Explain that from the very horses mouth Mr Klitlicker.

Would you credit Vitali with a legitimate win if he'd beat Lewis in exactly the same circumstances??

The force is weak with this one, no ability from calling names while attempting to make a point. Tsk Tsk.

Answer: Vitali hay have said this. I've never read it but I'll take your word for it. But, based on this the reason he didn't have the condition for this is because of Klitschko himself. The fight was fought at Vitali's franetic pace and maybe he felt like Lennox couldn't hang with it. But one thing is certain, as displayed on the cards, Vitali was getting the better of Lennox.

You don't have to accept that if you don't want to.....

I don't have a reason to call you names back at this time.

Nope, not if he was losing the fight and I knew in my heart somebody had been beating him. I would not let him live down not granting a rematch.(Vitali would never turn down a rematch anyways if he were losing) Especially since I've been clamoring for a competitive fight since he fought Arreola. That fight was beast. He made Vitali have to fight sharp, very sharp. Reminded me of the Lewis-Tua fight.
