Lara-williams now that's a robbery! once agin, jmm-pac3 was close and could have gone either way. was the result affected by boxing politics and boxing economics? probably.
So now your changing your tune to power shots landed huh. Lara v williams. Williams threw much more punches so his volume was huge so did he deserve the win.

Exactly the reason Pac was given all his hype because he was beating these "bigger" guys. If JMM does it and does it without a CW it enhances his legacy, which was answering the question I was asked.

If JMM fights at JWW or WW he has the skills to school everyone there outside of Floyd of course. It would be a test BUT interesting and would sell IMO. IMO after this past weekends performance he could get a JWW or WW belt and both would enhance his legacy and stock.

truthfully i scored the fight 115-113 for marquez the first time. 115-113 for pac the second time i watched it. nothing definitive really. it really depends on how you score each round, sometimes a three punch combination can win a round sometimes a single hard punch could sway the judges. it was really close. marquez performed beyond expectations and boxed brilliantly but to say he won conclusively without a trace of doubt is false. the judge who gave 116-112 for pacquiao is on bob arum's pocket for sure.

TSAC will insist on getting the most experienced judges....the best of the best.

1st of all let's dispel a few things.

            1. JMM can't pick the judges. Neither an Top Rank and while they can insist on different ones, the commission is the one who picks them. Let's be serious for a second here, and realize no fighter or promoter just hand picks the judges they want.......it doesn't work like that.

Lets stop being naive, wake the *** up, and realise that everything you just said is completely irrelevant. Boxing judges have been paid off since the beginning of time, just ask Bob Arum, who has already been convicted of that very offense.

            2. Fight isn't happening in Mexico. Mexico isn't in position to host a mega-fight.....period.

I dont know about that. You could be right, but if the Phillies can host the Thrilla in Manilla, then Mexico can likely host that fight no problem.

            3. JMM can't go back to 135 and Manny is the only option left for him. Do you honest think a 38 year old who put on muscle is going to drop back to his natural weight class and not see the effects of that mistake? Ask Roy how that worked for him after the Ruiz fight.

After seeing how Marquez handled the weight you really dont think that he could win a title at 140 and become officially the first Mexican to win legit titles in 4 different weight divisions, instead of unofficially being the first Mexican to perform that feat, like he did on Saturday?

            4. Outside of Khan, who else is going to be worth it, legacy and financial wise? It's either Pacquiao 4 or retirement.

            An official 4th title ^^
" Pacquiao vs Marquez IV is happening whether we like it or not "

            Looks that way.

Arum has frantically been filling Pac''s dance-card, so this situation suits him to the ground.

A bad move imo, because exactly the same thing will happen. Manny will NEVER decisively beat Marquez, because he cannot, end of story.

That fight will sink Pac's stock even further, for a number of reasons.....

a.) Now, Marquez is confident at the weight

b.) JMM just had a real good close-up-and-personal look at the "new" Pacquiao, so..... there are no secrets or surprises there

c.) the better fighter will make the better adjustments, and that fighter is Marquez

d.) because the "unfocused" and "cramps" excuses, will not work a second time

            • Bs Jmm isn´t a welter, just because Manny can do it doesn´t mean JMM can do it... he is much older, has been fighting for too much time, and he doesn´t have Daddy Arum to protect his ass. JMM just doesn´t deserve a monster punch from guys like Ortiz or Berto, there is no need for it... he is already one of the best technicians in the history of boxing... and he is Pac´s Father.

I have watched that fight twice, and I seriously doubt that Pac out-landed Marquez at all.

Compubox seemed to score everything that Pac threw, and only what Marquez landed.

Compubox has never been a reliable source of information.

                  The only problem though.....

                  WBC champ Floyd Mayweather
                  WBO champ Manny Pacquiao
                  IBF......just vacated by Berto
                  WBA....Sencheko (sp)

So you honestly think he will go to WW and fight a no name in Senchecko? How would winning a vacant strap enhance his legacy? Berto and Ortiz are both coming off of losses in big fights (well Berto beat Javeck but the public only remembers the Ortiz fight).

Look I'm not here to argue or even debate, just offer a different perspective. I honestly don't see who Marquez can face that would enhance his career. Also anyone else he faces will only bring 2 million at most, whereas he can get 15 million plus against Pacquiao.

                  Manny is his best option....period.

didnt see that fight actually.just read the round per round reports. it was wrong for me to site that as an example. but to say that pac just led in volume of shots and lagged in quality of punches thrown is also wrong. clearly jmm face was taking a toll suggesting that pac not only threw more punches, but those punches were also quite effective.

Then it was a fkn robbery, end of story

Even if that fight was close, if the end result was even slightly affected by "politics and boxing economics"..... then it was a robbery, plain and simple.

If that same result was made by the sway of judges scoring a real close fight, then no..... but if the result was manipulated or affected by any external factor, then it was a robbery.

                      Come on.
