Both Benn and Eubank at their best definately beat Calzaghe.

But Benn and Eubank were so poor in Benn-Eubank II that I reckon Calzaghe would of beaten both of them on the same night that night, even though he'd only just made his debut on the Lewis-Bruno undercard.

Agreed. I wish the North American scene had more exposure to Calzaghe, when he was prime.

Based on his performance in this video, it does look like the guy is "getting old", as you say. His hand "speed" seems very average or even slightly slow. His overall performance had the look of a guy who needed to get the other out-of-there early, otherwise he might run out of steam.
