I disagree.
P4P is theoretical, but Marquez is doing the business better than Floyd right now. He is more active, he is taking on larger opponents above his natural, most comfortable, fighting weight, which was featherweight..... and he is doing it without catch-weights (the Pac c/w doesnt count, because Pac has NEVER weighed that much and JMM is a lightweight, that was a sham).
If they were both naturally the exact same size, then I agree with you that Mayweather would still be the favorite, but right now, Marquez is the one who has risen to the occasion and is proving himself in the ring.
Not discounting Mayweathers last 3 opponents either. I wasnt happy about the weight issue in the Marquez/Mayweather fight, but we all saw what JMM did to Pac, and Pac had avoided him for a reason.
I find it harder to slag Mayweather for fighting Marquez knowing that Pac avoided JMM and then lost to him yesterday.
Mosley, Pac had just ducked Shane, and he was ranked the #1 welter.
Ortiz was ranked #3 legitimately, and was a prime young stud.
JMM takes it for me, but only just, and only because of his string of lightweight wins against favored opponents, and because he beat Pacquiao yesterday. If Mayweather beats another top opponent next, then he takes it..... if that opponent is Martinez or Pac, then he keeps it forever.
But I agree with your point about Mayweather 100%.

yes, it could be overtraing, it could also be a BS excuse for getting outboxed. a friend of mine who is a bodybuilder recently started taking steroids cause it helps with injuries apparently, one of the major side affects he says is that he tends to cramp up a lot, just sayin

hahaha im a smarta$$ but im for real bro, cramping up is one of the side affects of steroids, personally i use to cramp up a bit when taking creatine, im not sure why it happens, maybe cause u can push ur body past it normal level but its 100% true, the doctor himself told my mate it would happen before he started.Comment

What else is new to all Marquez fans... In your **** up eyes, Knockdowns and winning more rounds by Pac will never be enough to beat Marquez. thats where ur wrong, a lot of Marquez fans believe that the first 2 fights were very close and just like u think pac won, marquez fans think that Marquez won, thats an opinion and thats fine, i think Marquez won the 2nd fight by 1 point, thats close enough to go either way but yesterday Marquez won easily, it wasnt close, and it seems Marquez is the one who has to KO him in order to get the win. it is unfair for Marquez especially at his age to train his a$$ off after waiting almost 4 years for this opportunity, only to get robbed like that cause Pac is promoted by the devil himself, im not sure if u noticed but the sport of boxing was done an injustice and died a little yesterday, ur obviously not a fighter or a REAL boxing fan if u can find it in urself to justify what went down, absolutely shameful.Comment
