Marquez weighed more than Pacquiao on fight night. Marquez is still bigger than Pacquiao last time I checked stats. Marquez proved he could hang with Pacquiao.

    • LOL at those comments about a rematch, I don't remember the lil ***** saying that in 08.

      • Manny did not show that he was in pain. Early in the fight during one of the breaks I overheard Alex Ariza asking Manny "Does it hurt?" and Manny responded "Yes". This is the same leg problem that Manny suffered during his fight with Mosley. Alex should look closely on this matter. It can be due to over training.

        • Bottomline is that Floyd is just too smart and can adjust at any given time and is just too damn technical. Pac has one gear. Floyd would probably murder Manny but I'm thinking Roach throws in the towel before he would watch Floyd beat Manny down. Martinez would murked Pac too and that's why they wanted to kill him with the wieght stipulations and bring him back from the dead to fight Pac. Arum did an excellent job making money off of Pac but at the expense of Manny's image as a fighter. JMM finally can say "I beat Manny Pacquiao" because everyone is saying it and not just him.

Moslty everyone thought Pac would breeze through JMM but I knew better.

yes, it could be overtraing, it could also be a BS excuse for getting outboxed. a friend of mine who is a bodybuilder recently started taking steroids cause it helps with injuries apparently, one of the major side affects he says is that he tends to cramp up a lot, just sayin

Based off the media created hype and the perfect match making vs bums over the past 3+ years to make him look better than he really is, Yes Pac should have EASILY beat JMM at WW.

What we witnessed last night is what happens when Pac fights great fighters and not washed up former champions or bums ala Diaz, Hoya, Hatton, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley. The fact that JMM is a LW and the majority of the entire world thinks JMM won, just proves how over rated Manny is and just how BAD Mayweather would toy with this kid.

It is known for a long time that Bob does not want Pac to fight Mayweather and what we watched last night is only an apitizer to what Floyd would do to him.

Pac P4P #1? Look for him to drop 1 to 2 spots. Pac has to beat Mayweather to be #1 as Pac has not beaten anyone to keep #1 in years and is STILL living off his win over Cotto at a CW back in 2009.

                  • Mayweather will win a lopsided fight IMO but Pac has a puncher's chance. And Manny throws a lot of punches plus Floyd's chin isnt full proof. This will be edgy fight for Floyd and he should be very cautious all through out the fight cause it might just end up like the Alvarado-Prescott fight. On a side note, Manny's Ariza was out-mentored by JuanMa's Angel in a battle of conditioning coaches. I was impressed with JuanMa's condition at his age. He was able to bring with him his power and speed unlike when he fought Floyd at the same weight. What interests me now is a Mayweather-Marquez rematch! Revancha!

                    • I would rather see Pac/JMM part 4..

..it's a classic!!!Pac would have to beat JMM convincingly. If Pac can win and put exclamation point against JMM. Then, Pac can think about Jr..but right now..Jr will just outpoint Pac...Pac's having problem with a lead right..and Jr is the master of lead right..unless Pac just put up a show to convince Jr that he's not the Pac anymore...hat's off to JMM, he won that fight!
