So Pac needs to fight Mayweather now, and Floyd is less intimidated by the lil' fella.

    Win-Win.

I still have Pac beating Mayweather for reasons I've given countless times and can be summed up in 4 words.

    Floyd is no Marquez.

They have different styles besides the fact that they're both counter punchers.
They do have different styles, Mayweathers is almost based purely around defence, which Pacquiao has proven he could not handle against Mosley/Marquez.

Mayweather has the best defence in the game, the best jab to the stomach in the game, the best right-hand lead in the game, and aside from being a truly complete fighter with a superb skillset, he is also one of the best counter-punchers that you will ever see.

I am not even interested in that fight.

    Pac needs to fight Ortiz.

No, that was Pacquiao's reasoning, as confirmed by Michael Koncz.

Lets not do any convenient re-writing of history today.

He did not want none of Marquez until he saw that JMM looked old, fat, and slow, at welter..... they relied on the fact that Marquez was a faded lightweight who could not handle that ridiculous "catch-weight"..... but they blew it, again.

      Marquez 3-0.

Yep, I could not see his point at all either.

Marquez to Floyd, is out of the frying pac and into the fire, end of story.

        • Mayweather made a HUGE mistake by not fighting Pacquaio earlier.

Mayweather vs Pacquaio won't do nearly the numbers now that it would have done before the Marquez fight, and Floyd won't see close to the Money he would have gotten now.

The whole reason people wanted to see the fight is because Pacquiao appeared to be a wrecking machine, but now that Marquez showed that he is the same fighter that he was before he went on his tear, its gonna be much harder to sell that fight, especially considering that a vast majority of viewers thought that Marquez actually won.

            No, pac-boy.

Manny is the one who has not faced Mayweather yet.

Floyd agreed to all terms, remember ?

The fight died because Pacquiao "walked away from the table" and refused random blood tests without a 24-day cutoff.

Is that the third time in 2 pages that you have attempted to re-write history?

Stop making **** up please, it is incredibly annoying.

Still reaching for your lucky stars that Pacquiao loses to someone other than your master, huh, duck-parrot?

                • Funny how I'm reading from Manny Pacquiao fans that Floyd Mayweather Jr ain't as offensive minded as Juan Manuel Marquez but just said recently that JMM should have been throwing more punches? You guys are too much. Floyd is way better than JMM in everyway and that is a huge compliment for both because JMM is one of THEE best fighters in the sport and one of my favorites but I'm a keep it all the way 100. After what the world witnessed with Manny against Marquez the fight between Floyd and Pac got less interesting. I said that Pac should have took the fight after he fought Cotto when he was dominating but Bob Arum greedy ass kept acting ****** and cashing in on Pac. Basically it has hurt his image more than helped it. Sure Pac gets paid but at the end of the day. Manny is a guy who wants to be looked at as the best and now that has came and went. Pac and Marquez had 3 fights and each time years apart Marquez exposed Pac. Pac was supposed to be getting better but instead he just wasn't fighting the guys to do that for him because Arum was too busy getting paid and now Pac pays for Arum greed and hate. Pac looked hurt yesterday like his whole world ended eventhough he won. I bet you that the sport won't be throwing that P4P#1 title around with Pac's name attached to it like they used to. Floyd is clearly the P4P#1 fighter.

I still think the fight can be very competitive, but on the real if they do decide to finally hammer this fight for next year, Freddy and Pac better put the Rock lifestyle on hold and commit to training like they did for Hatton. Thats the only way I see Pac pulling off the upset.

As for Marquez, I feel so bad for him and I would hate for him to Retire. For my own selfish reasons I hope he continues to fight.. I would love to see this man Fight Brandon Rios, who I think JMM would Diaz him.. Salute to a real Warrior in JMM.
Wait how is it the "best p4p fighter in the world" and "fighter of the decade" winner is not favored to win? Unless he... YES, he was an hypejob all along. The goal was to take Floyd's 0 with trickery and steroids. Now it's PAYBACK time.

No. Floyd did not outclass Castillo in the first fight but he sure did beat him in the immediate rematch. Manny Pacquiao had YEARS, age and a weight advantage and Pac STILL hasn't beat JMM convincingly. If Anything. Last night Marquez proved that he could beat and is a better fighter than Pac.
