it doesnt sound like that at all...to me it sounds like cotto knows what he's capable of...if anything he'll be more calculated in his approach to this fight, executing multiple gameplans whereas tony is still his one dimensional self

both fighters are broken, no doubt about that...but cotto can not be viewed as the underdog here

had tony beaten mosley there wouldve been a rematch between these two by now. people back then, even though cotto lost, were still viewing this as a very winnable fight. if anything people should have more reason to think that this time around

Precisely. There are several factors riding against Margarito in the rematch. ones that I made note of in this thread in the beginning of October.

Cotto is less battle worn, more active, is 4-1 (3KO's) since his fight with Margarito, AND fighting in Madison Square Garden.

Margarito's 1-2 (0 KO's) since his fight with Cotto, much less active, much more battle worn, been fighting 18 years in pro boxing with that come forward style taking punishment, and...fighting in Madison Square Garden...

Margarito has the style to beat Cotto, but he's got a lot of disadvantages going into the fight and any objective fan will make note of it. Margarito has to overcome his tendency to get hit often, the hometown disadvantage, and the pressure of the "do or die" moment.

I don't know Panda,he sound like he is not ready to take the punishment necessary to win a fight of this nature..Cotto better dominate this fight, because if it turns into a war Cotto might not be ready for the long hull...

Don't know if he's mentally prepared, but someone posted a video of him with his new coach, and it looks like he's not taking this fight lightly.

I don't know about that Cotto made those same comments before the Pacquiao fight and he din't quit. Cotto knows he must win this fight because his career depends on.

Oh I know he is not taking this fight lightly..Marga's KO'd him, noway he takes this fight lightly..But you know Marga's is not taking it lightly either..Should be a good fight, but I don't like Cotto's mentality in the face off..We know what Marga's is willing to risk,Cotto does not seem to have that in him,and it might be the difference of the outcome of this fight...
