i don't think so it was a robbery, but i myself scored it and got 115-113 in Pac's favor. Though JMM just won 5 rounds (R1, 2, 5, 6, 7) in my scorecard, it was here where Pac had received clean and sharper shots from JMM numerous times, and the 7 rounds (R3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) belongs to Pac by just out-pointing JMM in one or a couple of shots! However, i admit there is something wrong with the pairing, Pac being the aggresor and JMM as counter-puncher, but if JMM fights Pac the way he fought Floyd he would have been KO'd IMHO! Since JMM have an issue of their previous fights by claiming he won them both (1st-Draw, 2nd-Split Decision for Pac), he should have fought Pac with more intensity and agressively, not just staying as counter-puncher and super-cautious through-out 12 rounds, by just letting Pac to make all efforts to enter to his web. This will not impressed judges especially when the bout ended into close decisions. Well, I'm upset the way the fight goes, Pac as expexted should have been decisive and explosive, and JMM who I expect to fight the way he fought in LW with hearts and tactics.. this really totally one of the boring fights of the year!!!

I am sorry if this hurts your feelings but if you didn't have Marquez winning or if you use compubox to fight your case you simply don't understand boxing. All you see is two guys trying to slug it out. That is not boxing.

This is boxing:

1) Effective Aggressiveness: Was pacquiao an effective aggressor? Hell NO!

2) Ring Generalship: Do I even have to make the case here. Marquez controlled the rythm, tempo, and the exchanges

3) Defense: Again do I even have to fight this for Marquez...... no contest Marquez

4) Clean and Hard Punching: All the clean and hard punches were Marquez, the only guy getting jolted out there was pacquiao.

if you are a boxing expert like the way you sound, then score it by round. There are rounds that Marquez landed the cleaner shots and was more effective, but there are also rounds the Pacquaio did the same. I scored it 7-5 rounds thus 115-113. I had Pacquaio winning 1,3,4,9,10,11 & 12. What's your?

I respect Pacquiao for all that he has done.

BUT as a boxing fan.. damn. It's either boxer/counter punchers are pacquiao's kryptonite.

Either way, if the Pacquiao that fought Marquez today fought Mayweather.

I don't like Floyd, he cheated against JMM and completely outweighed him, and yeah for me that was a terrible win, but this win of Pac against Marquez isn't helping Manny at all.

yes but his explosiveness wasn't there for the mosley fight. The reason manny has not looked good is because both refused to stand in front of him like robots and get hit. Mosley moved constantly away from manny's left and circled him taking away manny's aggressiveness.
marquez was able to move and counter. Something neither diaz, hatton, dlh, clottey, or margarito could do.

Do you see now why people were upset with those pacquiao opponents.

Rounds 1-4 is a back and fourth tussle....rounds 5-8 for me was all for Marquez...9-12 for Pacquiao....to be honest...some of you guys are busting a nut over the Pacquiao victory because he didn't destroy Marquez like he was suppose to.....which lends credence to Marquez skills.

Pac is delusional if he thinks he could outwit JMM by counterpunching the counterpuncher

He doesn't have to outwit marquez. He just had to outpunch him. That's boxing.

If pac eats a strong hook from jmm but lands three straight mediocre shots...pac wins that exchange.
