JMM missed a lot during late rounds, had Pac chose to **** that last rounds he woulve tagged a lot & most likely cost him the fight
i've said this months before the fight that regardless of ANY weight, JMM would still give problems to Pacquiao

Look at his face after the first two fights and look at his face tonight, minus the headbutt cut... Yet look at Marquez's face after the fight and then look at the punch stats and then ask who was more aggressive and who did the most damage??? I had it 116 - 112 Pac, and like Emanuel Stewart said go take the title!!! Don't fight a defensive counter-punch fight and then cry when the agressive fighter who threw more punches and landed more punches and Fed your face up gets the W... Pac won and it wasn't pretty but when the fight was a draw after 8 rounds (4-4) Marquez got hit and a little winded and lost any intrest in trying to win the fight outright and taking it out of the judges hands... Message to Marquez and all his cry baby fans... IF YOU FELT YOU WERE ROBBED IN THE FIRST TWO FIGHTS..... GO FOR THE KNOCKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, I don't blame him for not doing so because I saw him take some good shots but don't complain after the fight. Just say I wanted to win but I wasn't going to lay it all on the line and go for the KO because I knew that if I did that I would have to take risk and I wasn't willing to take risk like that against Pac and looking at his face after the fight nobody would blame him for saying that.... Pac looked vulnerable in this fight lets hope that Floyd would be willing to fight now but I doubt it....

but im still dissapointed with Pac's performance
he still fought JMM's fight, which almost the same of what they did on the 2nd fight
Pac is delusional if he thinks he could outwit JMM by counterpunching the counterpuncher

Compubox numbers are generated by some guys trained to use a computer to count the punches that each boxer threw and landed, but in the end they're just humans and they also make mistakes.

The realization that the fight isn’t over and that you still haven’t ‘done enough’, is what propels the fighting spirit and it is the essence of what Champions are made of. It is the basis for success not just in the ring but in life.
When you watch the corner between rounds, you can see the glaring contrast between the trainers. Nacho continues to encourage JMM stating that he’s winning or has won. Freddy continues to push Pacquiao for a knockout.
And at the end, JMM raises his hands in victory and Pacquiao, as he traditionally does, goes to the corner to pray.
Marquez is without question an amazing fighter. But to sing the songs of victory before the fight is even over will only cement defeat. And to assume that the hard fought fight has been won before the unforgiving hammer of the judges scorecards fall, can only create bitterness and resentment.
If JMM had fought the 9th through the 12th as if we was still behind or losing, I’m certain that the taste of victory would have finally graced his lips.
But he made a fatal flaw in an increasingly close fight. Confidence is a measure of one’s ability. But over confidence is the ingredient for one's own demise.
Pacquiao and Marquez can fight 20 more times. And Pacquiao will always edge out Marquez everytime. Not because Pacquiao is significantly beter than JMM. But because Pacquiao fights as if he’s always behind – even if he’s miles ahead.

ps - Watched the fight twice. First viewing had Pac +1. Second viewing had Marquez +1. What a fight!
