" In the pantheon of disgraceful decisions in the history of boxing this one will
go down as one of the most notorious. Juan Manuel Marquez, at the age of 38,
has just seen his best performance in the ring to comprehensively out box, out
think, out work, and out hustle Manny Pacquiao over 12 rounds stolen from him
by three judges who have brought shame to the sport. It was an historic
performance. It should have resulted in a unanimous decision in favour of Juan
Manuel Marquez. Instead he lost and so did the sport of boxing.,,,, " http://www. east side boxing .com/ne...p=29847&more=1
I think I need to repost because I see some idiots need to see it...
Pacquiao won fair and square some might be lead to believe Marquez won because the rounds he won he dominated. But, the close rounds go to the aggressive harder puncher. That's boxing... People thought that Pac would run through Marquez so anything short of that looks like he was losing, I actually thought that Pac did better this fight and so did the judges. Look at his face after the first two fights and look at his face tonight, minus the headbutt cut... Yet look at Marquez's face after the fight and then look at the punch stats and then ask who was more aggressive and who did the most damage??? I had it 116 - 112 Pac, and like Emanuel Stewart said go take the title!!! Don't fight a defensive counter-punch fight and then cry when the agressive fighter who threw more punches and landed more punches and Fed your face up gets the W... Pac won and it wasn't pretty but when the fight was a draw after 8 rounds (4-4) Marquez got hit and a little winded and lost any intrest in trying to win the fight outright and taking it out of the judges hands... Message to Marquez and all his cry baby fans... IF YOU FELT YOU WERE ROBBED IN THE FIRST TWO FIGHTS..... GO FOR THE KNOCKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, I don't blame him for not doing so because I saw him take some good shots but don't complain after the fight. Just say I wanted to win but I wasn't going to lay it all on the line and go for the KO because I knew that if I did that I would have to take risk and I wasn't willing to take risk like that against Pac and looking at his face after the fight nobody would blame him for saying that.... Pac looked vulnerable in this fight lets hope that Floyd would be willing to fight now but I doubt it....

Jesus Christ people... what in the hell were you watching? I know there are a lot of mexican boxing fanatics on this site, but wow. Personally, I didn't have a dog in the fight. Just wanted to see a good fight. I had the first and last rounds as a draw. Total, I had Manny up by one round. It could have gone either way. Lots of tweener rounds. But to say that Manny got dominated is completely ignorant. It was a close fight. Marquez's ******ed corner cost him this fight. They kept telling him how far ahead he was. You don't do that. Especially in a close fight, where you know that Pacman is going to take the decision. Had they told him to stay aggressive, he would have won the fight. But by no means was this a robbery, or a one-sided Marquez fight. Manny was the aggressor. He landed more punches. He played great defense with some counter punches of his own. He did look exposed to Floyd tonight, but he still won the fight. Could have been a draw. But one-sided the other direction? You people are smoking crack.
pac sure looked like it was one sided to him at the end of the fight, not even in the 2 fights did he walk away like this
Did people really think JMM would get a decision in las Vegas even if he deserved it in a Paq fight? There is a lot riding on a Paq win and baring a KO he would alway get the decision in this fight, I haven't seen this fight so cannot judge but I didn't expect a JMM UD.
I expected Pacquiao to dominate Marquez, most people did, so when Marquez schooled him throughout the fight I think people were beginning to expect the unexpected, or at least become hopeful for the unexpected.
