  • ROBBERY

    THEFT

    STOLEN

Whatever you want to call it. I'm a Pacman fan and at the 9th I already knew he was gonna lose, and my stomach was feeling weird because it would be an extreme letdown for Manny to lose for the first time in a very long time. So then came the 12, Manny didn't do anything and I knew he was gonna lose. But then came the judges.

**** the judges and a great big **** YOU to Bob Arum

A flurry which Marquez ducked and slipped every bit of.

      Round 12 was even.
The judges aren't allowed to score rounds even. And if no one lands anything then the more offensive fighter will get the nod.

" The opinions of many within the ringside media and those at the post-fight
press conference were somewhat mixed, but the overwhelming majority felt
that the legend from Mexico City had been robbed. The general consensus is
that Marquez’ counter punching controlled the pace of the contest and that
        he landed the harder shots

This fight was by no means one-sided.
Actually, it was the most one-sided of their three fights.

And contrary to popular NSB belief : A fight can be close, but still clear.

See : Whitaker/Chavez. Which people also (rightfully) call a robbery.

          • Since all of you *****s here kept inserting your god floyd here, can we wait for his respond to the fight that we all been waiting? Or he will just say "I beat marquez more convincingly than pacquiao."

Pacquiao already says he will fight anyone, anytime.

As for the fight, it was a close one, there are some rounds that are very hard to score, and according to boxing judges, when in doubt go with the aggressor, in this fight pac is the more aggressive fighter no doubt. Marquez is the challenger, he must outwork the champion not just back peddling and counter punching if he has the opportunity, that actions can't win championships.

lol! Marquez is 2 lbs heavier than Pacquiao while Floyd enjoyed 15-20 lbs advantages against Marquez.

it's a 10 point mus system. there is no even rounds here. so what's it gonna be the one pressing or the the one ducking? Pls replay the 12th round. check the right hooks and left straight of Manny connecting and what did Marquez connect in that round.

The judges are what is wrong with boxing.

                  Period.

                    • Jesus Christ people... what in the hell were you watching? I know there are a lot of mexican boxing fanatics on this site, but wow. Personally, I didn't have a dog in the fight. Just wanted to see a good fight. I had the first and last rounds as a draw. Total, I had Manny up by one round. It could have gone either way. Lots of tweener rounds. But to say that Manny got dominated is completely ignorant. It was a close fight. Marquez's ******ed corner cost him this fight. They kept telling him how far ahead he was. You don't do that. Especially in a close fight, where you know that Pacman is going to take the decision. Had they told him to stay aggressive, he would have won the fight. But by no means was this a robbery, or a one-sided Marquez fight. Manny was the aggressor. He landed more punches. He played great defense with some counter punches of his own. He did look exposed to Floyd tonight, but he still won the fight. Could have been a draw. But one-sided the other direction? You people are smoking crack.
