notice the "robbery ,robbery" cry has toned down a lot now..i think it's becuase many have watched the fight again and actually scored it....some are still hurt, no biggie..
This fight was a financial monster. Sold out the MGM in 2 weeks, good for 9th all time in Nevada in terms of gate, 1 mil+ buys (Arum says it's higher than 1.3, but probably just the usual hyperbole), and a record 40-something million Mexicans tuning in on free TV. That's impressive
Now youre just being dumb. Yes Pacs stock drops significantly, and JMMS skyrocketed, but once the dust settles, the clear cash cow is still Manny. Even if he may not make another 1million+ PPV buy outside of Floyd.
I think this fight is somewhere along the lines of 75/25 or 80//20?
I think 60/40 in favor of Manny may be a little overboard but JMM deserves it.
Dumb? lol
JMM priced himself out once already. You don't think JMM is going to ask for at least 50%? He's pissed and carma is a b*tch, he might even ask for more and demand to figth on his own turf.
What is Pac going to do, walk away and fight Floyd Mayweather? Don't be silly.
JMM has more power as the table has turned and now Pac will be begging for the fight. Its either JMM or Mayweather. You do the math.
That would be awesome, but unlikely. Marquez is a prideful dude... He walked away from a Pac fight in 2006 to go fight in Indonesia so who knows. Maybe he'll ask for too much and Arum will be screwed. That would be a best case scenario for May-Pac fight.
Bob is backed into a corner. He either takes what JMM demands, OR Pac fights Mayweather for 50-50 and makes alot more.....
We all (have known) Pac don't want any part of Mayweather.
