Nobody wants a 4th fight right now, Pac can always come back to the fight JUST like he has in the past. It took 4 years to make the 1st rematch and 3 years for the next. This one can wait until after Pac fights Mayweather. If Pac gets his ass whooped by JMM again, nobody will even talk about Pac anymore let alone want to see him fight Mayweather.

Because he can make more money fighting Mayweather. Both Mayweather and Marquez are stylistic nightmares for him. And the fans would prefer the Mayweather fight anyway, so I don't think pacquiao or the fans lose if he goes with Mayweather. The only who would lose would be JMM, who has proven in the past he knows f*** all about the business end.

Pac is the golden goose regardless of a little controversy. If JMM walks, he has nowhere to go and he can't make nearly the bank.
