    What a joke.
Ronnie already bashed the compbox, he says its just a person clicking a button and thats it.

    • Exactly. I scored it for Marquez the first time, and Pacquiao the second time.
The first time I saw it i saw it on a stream from primetime wich IMO was extremely biased towards Marquez. While the HBO crew actually felt unbiased. and I agreed with a lot of what Harold Lederman said.

Marquez was constantly backing up while Pacquiao was the agressor and kept pressing the fight, and he was more active. so the second time i actually scored it 116-112 for Pacquiao, but i could also see 115-113 for Pacquiao.

      • I watched it in slow mo and without sound.

Pacquiao won, bag more rounds. At the end of the day that's what it's about.

          • Marquez is a counterpuncher, imo he won rounds 2-10 pretty clear. He landed the bigger shots and Pacquiao looked weak.

            • I scored it for Marquez at first 116-112. . . But after rewatching I could see a score 115-113 for Manny OR 115-113 for Marquez (or a draw). . . I had marquez DEFINITELY winning 5 rounds. . . I had Manny DEFINITELY winning 3 rounds. . . Then I had 2 rounds that were basically DEAD EVEN. . . and another 2 where you could justify giving to either fighter just the same. . . It's weird, but if you really break down each round, a 115-113 Manny victory is completely justifiable. . . I think a draw was appropriate.

The rounds Marquez won, he won MORE CONVINCINGLY, becuase like the TS said - he landed more "memorable" punches. . . They overshadowed the rounds Manny won, and people were just waiting for "that counter" by marquez rather than counting points manny was tallying up to take the "boring rounds". . .

A lot of his left hands I didn't think landed at first, were actually landing.

              • I can see an argument in favor of Marquez winning.

However what I don't get is people acting like those judges are incompetent and unable to score a fight correctly.

Those guys, including Harold Lederman have judged 1000's of fights and know what to look for. While we may not agree with them, to sit up and pretend they are biased and corrupt is becoming pathetic and I agree 100% with this article.

That is, until I tally up the score card. Pac 115, JMM 113.

It's weird. But I can see why the judges scored it for Pacquiao. He's the title holder. If JMM wants the belt, he's gotta go in there and take it. Not back up and counter. Pac was willing to engage but JMM would back up.

It became more of a chess match than a fight.
I agree, it was like an optical illusion depending on who ur rooting for. I scored it a draw, but MP still wins by virtue of being champ.

Rewatch the 12th round even by slow motion Marquez only connected 2-3 inaccurate punches while he should have been going all-out.

Yet a lot of e-diots scored that round for Marquez. *****s just pray for MP`s fall, not so easy.

You've summarized this fight the best.

                      same thing here,

when I first watched it, I was going crazy like damn JMM is schooling Pacquiao!!

when I watched it again without all that adrenaline rush.

I scored it 116-114 for Pacquiao.

seemed weird but, Marquez wasnt doing much the last three rounds.. those last 3 rounds saved Pacquiao,

I realized I expected too much from Pacquiao and too less from Marquez that I overlooked it when I first watched it.

Regardless of whether I think he won or lost,

2008-2009 Pacquiao would of been interesting to see against Floyd, Although id still give a slight edge to Floyd.

2011 Pacquiao will lose to floyd.
