Pac fan here. Total props to JMM. He's probably the most intelligent fighter in the game today. When I saw how good he looked at the weigh in, I knew this was going to be a closer fight than people expected. I wouldn't mind seeing a fourth fight after the Mayweather fight.

Also, call me crazy, but I think JMM outpoints Ortiz, Berto, Bradley & probably Cotto @ 147. JMM steamrolls through anyone in the LW or JWW division besides Khan.

Wait, what left a bad taste? Arums old man Johnson? Or Marquez's nuts on Pacquiao's forehead?

This was like Morales-Maidana, but much closer

I had watch the fight 4 times already and it happend what happend in fight #2, Manny won the first rounds(close), then Marquez took over in the middle of the fight winning the rounds clearly and in the final rounds he ****ed up by not being the agressor. In the last round Marquez didnt landed a single punch!

Another thing is that people(including me) was expected Marquez to get KTFO and since he did better than was thought, people got the illusion that he was dominating, but that wasnt the case. He foughta very tactical fight and it was close, had he step it up in those laters rounds, he would have left no doubts.

There where some rounds that he landed 3 or 4 solid punches and then he didnt do jack ****, he only backed away and play defense.

In My personal view I had it 115-114 for Marquez, but when you have close rounds against a fighter who is being more agressive you are bound to lose those rounds(specially in vegas)

So Marquez have only himself to blame for this, he should had been more agressive!

Reed, I was literally the only non ******* on this site Sunday morning that thought Pacquiao won. I thought there was something wrong with me. Seeing others with the same opinion today has made me feel better.

i wouldn't mind reviewing them and do another batch of scoring.

i thought marquez won clearly the first time around. turned off the sound and tried to score it as fairly as i could and i scored it 7-5 in favor of pacquiao.
Dan Rafael, who is not exactly a Pac fan, agrees with you.

Pacquiao-Marquez IV in May 2012...get ready for it.

I just have a feeling that Arum isn't going to push for the Mayweather fight AT ALL. Even Roach and Pacquiao are saying they want another Marquez fight again. Arum even said that Marquez won't retire and hinted at a $10 Millon payday for Marquez if they fight May.

All that aside, does anyone think Arum and Team Pac want the Mayweather fight next???

I am just preparing myself for something I think is going to happen.
