    fantastic in what way?

maybe in term of what he teaches in the gym, but you have to be Manny Khan or JCC Jr to get that attention anymore.

in the corner Roach is simply awful with instructions

    • I thought the same thing and was shocked as to how quiet he was in the corner. Roach is a fantastic trainer but he failed to adjust to what JMM was doing.

Nacho on the other hand proved to me he's the best trainer in boxing and it isn't even close. Masterful game plan and execution by two of the best in the sport.

Admit it. You all knew, before the announcement, that Manny had lost.

Manny did. His trainers did. His coach did. Marquez did. Every soul in the arena did.

Hell, even the judges knew he lost.
Pacteam was disappointed that Pac did not KO Marquez, hence the sad reactions. They all knew Pac won but not the way they wanted. The judges scored the fight in Pac's favor, what are you talking about? Even Lederman did.

Juan Manuel Marquez had superior defense. Manny Pacquiao could NOT land his signature straight right hand. Not only did Marquez move away from Pacquiao's str8 left, he was ableto slip and duck under it.

Ring Generalship- They fought MArquez's fight. Pacquiao only come forward whiile Marque controlled the pace of the fight. He stopped pacquiao form through a lot of crazy combinations with his counter punchin. He kept the fight in the middle of the ring. Whenever Marque went offensive he landed about 80% of the time.

Clean effective punches. Marquez had pacquiao
s head flying all over the place. You CANNOT score this for pacquiao.
except that you are supposed to score it per round, not the entire fight.

              had pac winning 7-5

              • Freddie needs to have manny work on his defense. i know manny is a monster offensive fighter but somebody from team pacman needs to tell manny that when u duck a punch u still look cool also haha. u dont always have to get hit to show that your tough.

freddie also need to work with manny on new things instead of the same ol' destroying the heavy bag and mitts. I know manny mention in one article that its hard since marquez stays put and waits for manny to make the first move so its hard because marquez is waiting to counter when manny jumps in, well then i guess u need to work on a new strategy on how to get in without getting tag or work on how to go around it.

                • Amazing isnt it....all these whiners saying jmm won...

yet i havent seen 1 of them post a scorecard to justify why he won :O

On the other hand, plenty of reasonable scorecards with justification floating around with very convincing arguments for 116-112 pacquiao or 115-113.

i have to laugh at all those "meaningful" punches arguments....

pray tell, who landed the 4 most meaningful punches in the first 2 fights? what were you all saying then?

face it guys, pac won all 3

                  • If Roach is overrated, then Nacho is a big failure.

What trainer tells you to take it easy on the last few rounds coz u are winning? In a fight that historically has always been close? This is the reason De La Hoya fired his trainer in the Trinidad fight. Nacho is the same guy that derailed Marquez' career, fought for peanuts in Indonesia instead of fighting an immediate rematch with Pac, then blames it on Pacquiao. There is a reason why Rafael fired Nacho.

Well, the same can be done for the punch stats you're bringing up. They're a tallied TOTAL. They're not tallied on a round-by-round basis. Pacquiao could have landed many of those shots over the course of 3 or 4 particularly good ones. Just because he landed a lot of them over the course of the fight doesn't automatically mean they were landed evenly over the course of 12 rounds...

                      Just sayin'...
