        You two are ninnys.

Calzaghe has never fought anyone of World Class that wasn't washed up.

You can day dream all you want about what you think 'would' have happened.

The fact remains he's a sheltered homer who's wasted his career avoiding challenges.

The guy is a complete and utter waste.

All I ever hear is all this talk about how everyone and everything was at fault for his lack of participation in meaninful fights.

        Bull ****.

He has no one to blame but himself.

When 10 years go by and he's missed out on countless other great fighters in and around his division because all he ever did was stay in his own backyard fighting meidocre opposition, the excuse train has left town.

He's not even worth talking about. Guys like Jones and Hopkins are shoe ins for the Hall of Fame.

The only was Calzaghe gets anywhere near the hall is if he buys a ticket.

The rest of your post was opinion, but it's pretty much a fact that Calzaghe is naturally bigger than Jones Jr.

Take away the juice and Jones Jr is a Jr Welterweight at best.

The fact is that Roy Jones Jr was a ****ing Flyweight at 16 years old and a Bantumweight at 18 years old, in his pre-chemical days. So Calzaghe is naturally bigger.

Guys like Lacy and Jones Jr, they are drug cheats. So really everybody, even Americans, should be on Calzaghe's side.. because Calzaghe is clean.

Hopkins at his best would of schooled JC with the sneak rights and ring smarts, RJJ at his best would be too athletic for JC, RJJ was a different class, but i agree that neither Hop or RJJ wanted JC in 02 while JC did realy wanted those fights,

You mean when Roy Jones was at Lt Heavy and Hopkins was in the tournament to unify the middleweight titles?

                  That makes no sense.

Calzaghe had a number of available challenges he hadn't met in his own weight class, he had no place thinking he could move up and get a shot at the unified Lt Heavy crown. All he had was a WBO strap at Supper Middle.

Calzaghe didn't even fight challenges in his own weight class, nevermind calling out pound for pound elite.

When Hopkins was in the middle weight tournament in 00 or 01, JC wouldnt of wanted to fight him becos he probably hadnt ever heard of him! (who had?)

JC was clearly always the best in his division by a distance and one of the most exciting and talented fighters in boxing unless your blind (and im not a fan of JC), every1 knew that it would be a superfight if RJJ and JC fought eachother, dont play ****** games

You hadn't heard of Hopkins before 01, and you ask who has?

                      That's comical.

Calzaghe has never been in a career defining fight, and there has always been competition in his own weight class he never fought. He held the WBO title, and had no business calling out anyone when he hadn't taken care of business at 168.

Your admission that you hadn't heard of Hopkins before 2000 was all I needed to hear.
