Ortiz was supposed to be the big bad aggressor....he was running from Mayweather. If this fight wasn't a dominating performance, I honestly don't know what is. Seriously, Mayweather is held to such a different standard its unbelievable.

Ortiz scarcely landed a clean punch, the only fighter landing clean effective punches was Floyd, and he easily won all 4 rounds.

How is Pac going overcome the reach & height disadvantage?

You're not taking into consideration Floyd adapting or anything.

How is Manny going to get into range with an almost non existent right hand, sloppy defence and a rather predictable left hand?

What is he going to do, lunge in face first?

He's giving away about 2" in height & 6 in reach

And no the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight wasn't competitive. Who you trying to fool? He lost every round & was laid out in 4. He didn't land a single jab out of 30 odd thrown and was completely outclassed from the word go.

Ortiz didn't do **** when he got Mayweather on the ropes, he lands one good shot and follows nothing up and got frustrated. Watch his shots closely before the headbutt occurred, even he knew he wasn't landing anything

All that added to the fact that he's going to get better with just more fights or rounds as he knocks off the ring rust. No doubt he's getting older and losing a step but I think he did better then you aknowledge and I think that is the worst version of Floyd you will see because it was after another long layoff and very early in a fight against a big strong Southpaw.

I think he looked good already and chances are he wouldve looked twice as good in the next 4 rounds. I also think alot of people miss the little things and some of the nuances that Floyd is able to do in the ring. There's alot of little masterful he does that people overlook but judges notic
I would normally agree with you, but the way the 4th round was heading, it didnt look like the same mayweather that could slow the pace down and prevent him from coming forward. You cant tell me that the longer the fight was going, ortiz was starting to get more comfortable in the fight. You have a good point, that mayweather came off a lay off and ortiz is just a big, dtrong kid, and that could just be the case, but mayweather looked a little off in this fight.

Ortiz by that time had clearly landed 5 body shots a few lead lefts and had him up against the ropes landing shots. HBO just wanted to make floyd look invincible. Am i the only one that saw what hbo was doing with the punch stats?
Nope.. it's been discussed along with video evidence (the fight) to back up that statement. Compubox can be as 'accurate' as Teddy Atlas fight predictions.

You can call me a *****, whatever the hell that is, isn't a ***** a lawnmower?

I'm a fan of Pac, I like him a lot, but I'm a realist and I don't believe he has a chance against Floyd.

Floyd is just a Jack of all trades, love or hate the guy, he's an outstanding fighter with IMO no weaknesses. He is just so well rounded, his timing, accuracy, footwork, defence everything is world class.

Pac is one hell of an offensive fighter but he simply don't have the tools to do it.

Ok lets just cancel the fight then. Floyd has the longer reach and manny supposedly has no right hand, and will just come in with his head and his average left hand lead. Call bob arum and GBP, and tell them to cancel this mismatch. I hope your trolling bro. Trust me I hate bob arum, but what he was saying about the right hand was soooooooooo sooooooooooo true. Up until manny fought hatton, i gave manny little to no chance to beat mayweather, but once i saw that he knew how to set up traps, and use angles, i KNEW mayweather wouldnt want to fight this "lil fella". Pacquiao's offense>mayweather's defense.

I am going to agree, I mean he has improved as a boxer and defensively but his D I rate at a C+ at best, I just see Floyd being able to snap Pac's head back with lead rights every time he does his little mini Tyson impression coming in.
