In the meantime, Johnson gave Froch a very close fight very recently, and Froch is the #2 ranked Super Middleweight, so winning every round against the opponent Froch struggled against so recently is the most emphatic statement Bute could possibly have made, against the most credible opponent by far who was available to him to fight.
You should try to keep up. If you did you would know that Bute gave Kessler a ridiculously low offer which is the same as saying that he don't want none.

I agree, but something looked off with this fight..It was not contested on a high level imo..It felt like I was watching a sparring session..

They have sparred, and have a lot of respect for each other. You could see they both knew each other too well going in, Glen was worried too much about Bute and Bute was worried too much about Glen.

What exactly was the offer? And I will say that I like Kessler but does anyone believe that he will have a bigger payday with fighting Stieglitz then he would have with Bute? I seriously doubt it, so maybe he just decided to take the easier road to another title by fighting the Russian.

Don't argue with Bat, he thinks that a first offer in a negociation process shows your hand.

So with Bute's first offer (although he doesn't even know exactly what it was), Bat knows Bute didn't want the fight, and uses that justification for Kessler not making any kind of offer. That's how logical the guy is about Bute and Kessler.

According to Bob Arum it was a laughable 750K.

Bute is promoted by Interbox and Kessler by Sauerland. So, I have to ask, what would Bob Arum and Top Rank have to do with it?

And according to Jean Bedard from Interbox, Kessler refuse 3 Million.

                    So who is right?
Only thing we know is that Kessler ran away, that we know.

Good question. Arum revealed the number when Pavlik refused to fight Bute for some 1M+ and at the same time claiming that Kessler was offered 3M.

I myself has spoken to Sauerland about it, and without revealing numbers, he said that Interbox's offer was the same as saying that they where not interested at this point in time.
