You should try to keep up. If you did, you would know that with the sole exception of Kessler, who doesn't want to fight him, all the "live bodies" as you call them have been tied up in the Super 6, from which Bute was excluded; but that Bute will be fighting the Super 6 winner next year. In the meantime, Johnson gave Froch a very close fight very recently, and Froch is the #2 ranked Super Middleweight, so winning every round against the opponent Froch struggled against so recently is the most emphatic statement Bute could possibly have made, against the most credible opponent by far who was available to him to fight.

Bute did what he had to, very good win for him. Still, this has to be a missed opportunity for him. Glen was looking every bit of 42, he was ripe to be stopped. Bute never took that chance, and he should have.

They have sparred, and have a lot of respect for each other. You could see they both knew each other too well going in, Glen was worried too much about Bute and Bute was worried too much about Glen.

Don't argue with Bat, he thinks that a first offer in a negociation process shows your hand.

So with Bute's first offer (although he doesn't even know exactly what it was), Bat knows Bute didn't want the fight, and uses that justification for Kessler not making any kind of offer. That's how logical the guy is about Bute and Kessler.

Good question. Arum revealed the number when Pavlik refused to fight Bute for some 1M+ and at the same time claiming that Kessler was offered 3M.

I myself has spoken to Sauerland about it, and without revealing numbers, he said that Interbox's offer was the same as saying that they where not interested at this point in time.
