That is a blatant lie. Floyd gave the go signal to GB production to start the negotiation on Nov. 15, 2009. The demand from Floyd for testing came up only after Arum came back from the Philippines. It was not in the proposal that was shown to Manny when Arum went to the Philippines in Dec. 1 or 2 in 2009. Floyd added that stipulation on Dec. 12, almost one month after the negotiations started.

Arum knows that a fight with Floyd will be Pacquiao's most lucrative fight EVER and he wasnts a piece of that pie. If Pacquiao were to make $100 million this fight Arum would get around 20 to 25 million of that money. Arums just trying to guilt Mayweather into taking this fight but he knows Mayweather is a tough fight for Manny that's why they ordered Mayweather to agree to a 10 million dollar per pound weight penalty if he were to come in over weight. They also made Floyd agree to the glove size and the ring size, yet they did not want to submit to a simple drug test. This game is all about Marketing and we all know Arum is full of it. He's saying these things to get the public on his fighters side and to make Mayweather drop any demands and take the fight.

I really wish Floyd would take the fight without drug testing and shut these haters up but he knows his marketability is tied to him being undefeated. He'd rather fight guys he knows he can beat and make 40 million dollars per fight than fight a guy who he thinks may be on something and risk losing the possibility of making those 40 million dollar pay days should he choose to fight again.
