Anyone who wasn't talking about testing before Mayweather mentioned it needs to shut the f**k up.

im not against better testing. im all for it but my issue here is pacquiao is the one being singled out when the commission is the one responsible for the testing and pacquiao has been complying with it, and has said will continue to comply with it even with additional testing.
testing should be a standard not a stipulation.
and im all for pacquiao taking the extra floyd tests just (shocked?) cause it will be a step closer to making the fight we all want. which in countless videos he said he will take it.
wtf. so you expect the commission to go full blown testing for all fights overnight?
you gotta start somewhere. maybe nsac will make it their standard to test fighters year round. why be against better testing for one fight?
maybe because the commission is actually the one responsible for doing the tests in the first place, and fights can be sanctioned without USADA?
you guys should stop pretending this is some common request fighters make. its not. it isn't like the weight, or the purse split, or ring size.
and floyd had how many what, 3 fights with "Olympic Style Testing" and it isn't even being done for Al haymon nor GBP fighters. it isn't doing shiiit either.

It doesn’t mean they’ll say yes or they’ll say no.

"if they had done a joint-petition to the commission for additional drug testing where they’d cover the cost so we wouldn’t have any budget issues, we would have been happy to do that. We’re still happy to do that. Again, my understanding is Golden Boy, Top Rank, and Pacquiao were in agreement to do that, but Mr. Mayweather decided not to do that"

It wouldnt be needed for any reason if he can give them an answer just like that... and why did he say what he said in my post you quoted? That would be pretty pointless to talk in circles and basically contradict his self 2 lines down...
His 2nd statement specifically refers to how they would handle this particular request. [i.e, had they petitioned the nsac to carry out the tests with their funds, they would have been happy to do so]
not sure how you could possibly interpret it any differently.

I'm really getting sick of these fanatics acting as if team pacquiao didn't kill this fight. You people need to go back and read Ben Thompson's timeline and stop lieing to yourselves. Anyone with basic reading and comprehension can tell you who's responsible for all this madness. Everyone seriously needs to just stop. Stop rewriting history, stop playing ******.

Golden Boy Promotions given green light by Mayweather to begin negotiations.
Less than two hours after Manny Pacquiao defeated Miguel Cotto on November 14, 2009, Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer contacted the President of HBO Sports, Ross Greenburg, to inform him that he had been given permission by Floyd Mayweather to begin negotiations for a potential showdown. "He plans on meeting next week with Bob to make the Mayweather fight," revealed Greenberg just minutes after the phone call.

Manny Pacquiao: Yes I want to fight Floyd Mayweather.
Decmber 2009-September 2010: A list of excuses from Mayweather why the fight can't happen, from everything from blood test to I want to take a year or two out of boxing, to I've got legal problems to deal with to I need another warm up fight.
If Floyd wanted to fight Pacquiao, it would have happen already.

Since when should we believe what people say in interviews and press conferences? Talk is cheap, if you wanna fight somebody you have to send that fighter an offer or at least try to meet his promoter.
Its really that simple.
Notice how Manny, Arum and Roach have never said "We have agreed to all of Floyd's terms, we will take all random USADA tests up to the day, and we have signed the contract and are waiting for Floyd to sign on the dotted line".
Until they agree to testing and sign a contract binding them to take random USADA tests up until the day of the fight, Team Pacquiao DOES NOT WANT THIS FIGHT!
